No, service was horrible, am I’m being charged things I should be charged for!!! I did not call for dispatch nor did I need labor ???? Just needed you guys to do your job and deliver the gas I paid for !!! You guys came and delivered without notifying me, after 9 days of no gas, and kids in the home!!!! So you put a lock and your responsibility to take lock off!!!! And I’m not paying for it!!!! My 2nd complaint will be filed to agriculture protection today!!!

Persistent failures to correct an improper billing on my account.

If I could give a ZERO I would. For the 2nd time now the delivery person lied about not being able to deliver our gas because no one was home which is a total lie because we were home. We are 100% dissatisfied customers. Don't trust this company.

Have the driver call the home owner if they are having difficulties accessing the tank than leaving

I have told you about my experience for years. Your office folks do not honor their pricing commitments, which I have in writing and have shared multiple times. Fruitless to even try.

I was charged $698.49 for a leak detection test. I was charged for hours of labor for a 40 minute site visit. I wrote a letter to complain - the only response I got was another notice that I owed money. Your service department call center is awful. If I had any choice, I would switch providers.

We were stuck due to previous owner’s choices. Don’t do it or change to a local company. People working for Amerigas have told me to leave the company’s services!Their call center a nightmare (poor Philippinos with no power probably get yelled at by frustrated customers)They do tricky stuff like changing account to ‘Will Call’ instead of autofill at renewal time. So when we run out we must pay them $460 rush fee!Their propane price is very high - at least 20-40 percent higher! An going to change out our tank and get a local company.

This company is running a scam! I have them set for automated delivery, they came early this time and I received a text msg after the gas was delivered stating 17.6 gallons were filled, the ticket the tech left at the door said 17.6 gallons. I received the bill later stating 63.3 gallons were delivered. When I called them the same day I was told it’ll be fixed now 3 weeks later and it still hasn’t been fixed. This company has gone downhill their customer service department is of no use. Every time you ask for a supervisor they simply say there is no supervisor on the floor. Then when you ask to be transferred to billing they hang up. Now how m I supposed to resolve issue without being harassed by their overseas employees? The discrepancy in their invoices I already had a doubt but this time I caught them but no one is helping in fixing the issue. Run!!! If you can from this company!!!

Your customer service needs to be onshore. I was connected to an offshore customer service dept who could not set up an appointment for a equipment upgrade for me for WEEKS. I had to ask many people in Tampa, FL for a local contact who I finally found and called. She set up an appointment for me immediately.

Very unhappy with Amerigas- customer service appears to have been outsourced overseas and it was like talking to a wall. The company has us on a fixed delivery schedule but has "forgotten" and dropped us off the route twice. After multiple calls getting disconnected I explained to customer service person who first told me I wasn't authorized to order gas on the account (which I've had for 8 years with them) Then he told me they would charge me a $300 fee for "emergency" delivery which would take 2-5 days. He also told me if they arrived to find I had more propane than I said I did, they'd charge me another fee??? Seriously do I have time to waste pretending I'm that low on propane? Additionally he told me someone had to be at the house to receive the delivery. Again I've used them for 8 years and that's NEVER been the case. Tank access is in front yard. Wouldn't that be on file?? Needless to say, I'm now shopping competitors*Update 11/18/23I emailed just as amerigas requested in their response below. No response has been received yet. To make matters worse, I received a text on 11/15 saying "so sorry your delivery could not be completed". No explanation. Once again I called the overseas customer service to find they claimed a driver did come out and thought a safety check should be done first. The customer service person said the driver couldn't do the safety check. He told me that the earliest date for a safety check would be between 11/17-11/29 and we could not receive propane until after that. Absolutely unacceptable. I searched other propane companies and after finding one with better ratings, I called a new company and in less than 48 hours had everything set AND had a full tank of propane. I had received no communication from amerigas during that time and my husband was home the full 48 hours. Today I find an invoice in my email from Amerigas for $289 for a safety check they claim was done on 11/17. No one other than the new company came to our home. My husband was here. Wouldn't someone doing a safety check leave a form showing what was checked? Wouldn't a safety check include the gas appliances inside the house that have been out of gas? This is complete fraud. We called overseas customer service and canceled propane delivery and our account. Customer service tried to tell us they owned the tank. They do NOT. We only got amerigas because they bought out the former mom & pop company we had. We own our tank. To top it off yesterday I got the amerigas newsletter promising customers they'd never run out of gas with amerigas and that they are reliable. Nope.

Horrible! Called for a refill on my tank and each customer service agent kept telling me there was an issue and they could not schedule delivery. They couldn't tell me what the issue was, but just gave me a new number to call. This went on for 5 different calls until I finally asked for a supervisor. After waiting on hold 10 minutes for a supervisor the girl I was speaking with came back and told me the delivery could be scheduled. What changed? No explanation given at all. Lets just hope the delivery actually happens. I'm not holding my breath.
