If you guys are going to hire a manager. Train them how to do returns. That’s beyond ridiculous. And for a commercial customer

This past Tuesday, my car urgently had a battery failure and I had to replace it very quickly because it was not damaging anymore. I arrived at this Autozone and was able to solve the problem thanks to the service of the employee who assisted me that day. I was super satisfied with the help he gave me that day. Thank you very much!!!!!

I bought a battery from there, and the lady seemed very ignorant about the correct battery for my car.
After I bought the battery, the car was starting hard.
I went back, and told another lady working there about the problem, and that I want to change the battery because I still have the warranty, and she told me "The battery is brand new, the problem can't be the battery" and refused to change it.
I went to another AutoZone and they told me that the battery I had was the wrong one for my car, and was too weak, that's why the car wasn't starting.
So the first lady gave me the wrong battery, and the second lady denied that the battery is the problem. Just incompetent.

Recently I had to a battery for each of our 2 vehicles about 2 weeks apart. One of which was bright and early on a Sunday morning. The staff at the Autozone at 1515 W Waters Ave., Tampa, was amazing. They were friendly and professional. They had no problem switching out the batteries in my vehicles. I'd recommend this business to everyone, and they are my "GO TO" when I need things for my vehicles.

This location never fails to surprise me with how low they can drag the bar. Don't bother placing online orders for pickup here, they wont even consider gathering the items until you get there for pickup anyway. That isn't too uncommon for AutoZone, but this location has about a 0/5 record with me so far. Like a fool, I keep trying, it's just so close to my house and my memory is clearly lacking.
The cashier didn't know how to use the checkout software, had to call a help desk. Help desk guy didn't know either, so we had to cancel the entire transaction and just ring it all up again. So the only reason to bother ordering online at all is just to stand at the counter for 10-15 and watch an employee do what you could have just done yourself, just basic regular shopping. You're better off doing it yourself too, then you can avoid the screwups that come with employees trying to modify online orders (they didn't have one of the items I'd bought, turns out the employees also don't check inventory here either) on a system they haven't been trained on.
Unfortunately, I had my three year old son with me, and after about 25 minutes of waiting at the counter, he started to get pissed. It breaks my heart to have to put him through that, but it does bring me incredible joy to force the apathetic and unqualified staff to also have to endure a screaming child for as long as it takes them to complete one single transaction that has already been ordered and paid for a few hours in advance. Just shy of 40 minutes total. Hell yeah.
So shop here, bring your kids, it'll be great.

I just came to this AutoZone store because it’s close to my house. I’ve never been here before and I needed a battery replaced. There’s an assistant store manager by the name of Wanda who is such an outstanding person it’s amazing! This woman changed my battery, she made sure that it was tight and well put And I love her! Needless to say, this is going to be my store from now on. I highly recommend people to come to the store. It is awesome! The service is great and Wanda. The assistant manager is a blessing! Thank you Wanda for making my day!

I went in this morning to get a new battery, the night before my car would not turn on and had to get a jumpstart , which led me to believe it was time for a new battery. Upon my arrival there was a lady with curly hair and long colorful nails who assisted me. She rang me up and proceeded to install my battery. Towards the end she was struggling to screw in the holders that keep the battery in place, almost seemed as if her long nails would not allow her to tighten in the screws. I even offered my help. Once the battery was in she asked me to turn my car on, I did turn it on but I explained to her it was not a normal start up. It was weak and faint. Then I turned it off/on again, since I don’t know a thing about cars I thought it was maybe something normal when a new battery gets put in. I head to work and when I go back to my car to go home, my car is completely dead! Not even the lights would come on. I called the AutoZone and they put on a hold and then a guy said I needed to bring it in. How was I going to get my car to them ? I am not sure. Eventually some one who regularly jump starts cars and came out to help. When he saw my battery he noticed that the cables on the negative (green) side were loose! And said that part of the battery connection (terminal) had burned. He explained that could be a reason why the power wasn’t flowing. He tightened the connector terminal then my car was able to power back up. I called the AutoZone again so the guy who came out to help me could explain why the battery was not working because it wasn’t put in correctly and suggested I probably needed a new battery . The lady who installed my battery got in the phone and she had a bad attitude and would not let the gentleman who helped me explain the issue and was rude to him. She didn’t even offer to take a look at it and didn’t even seem like she wanted to help! Then she got an attitude with me and said “you stood there and saw me tighten it” Excuse me lady but I don’t know if you tightened it correctly on the right side! Seeing you turn the screw doesn’t mean you tightened it correctly! I don’t know a thing about cars, that’s why we go to you! I paid nearly $250 for a brand new battery and it’s not nice knowing it wasn’t installed correctly, it doesn’t make the business seem as reliable or trustworthy. In the end, One of the connectors was loose and poorly tightened, which could have left me stranded on the road, even led to an accident. But instead of being helpful and providing customer service, I was scolded for bringing it up to her attention. I don’t remember her name but She knows who she is. I won’t be coming here again.
