My trans friend and I recently came through and they felt really safe shopping there vs other stores. She was able to try on stuff without judgment. Wish there was more plus sizes and less fast fashion. Besides that all the employees were welcoming and it was super busy but they were still on top of it all.

I dropped off the clothes I wanted to sell and then called before driving back out there because I didn't want to bother driving out there again if they weren't buying any of my items. When the girl who answered the phone told me they weren't buying any of my items, I told her that they can go ahead and donate my items (there's a Salvation Army on the adjacent lot), but she told me that they can't donate for me even though they are next to a Salvation Army and that I would have to go pick up my items. I then told her that they can go ahead and throw away my items, but she said that they can't throw away my items either and that I would just have to go pick them up. Of course, I could have just left my items there no matter what she said, but I decided to go back there because I wanted my items back to possibly sell at Labelswap instead as it's only 7 minutes away.

Customer service needs some tlc. They have a mannequin in the front of the store I thought was a Halloween decoration but I found out it wasn’t. Otherwise fun store to browse through and if you like thrifting. You never know what you can find.

I used to loveeeee this store (and still love the Winter Park location!) but came in to sell today and was so underwhelmed. There wasn’t much cute stuff to buy and there was an unbearable amount of fast fashion (SheIn, FashionNova, Forever21, LOTS OF Zara) and yet they didn’t take any of my clothes which were some brands and styles that they said they were looking for often enough in like new condition. I watched the guy go through my bag and he was just tossing them aside after a single glance, not looking at the brand names or anything. It’s wild to me too because some things I brought in I literally bought at this Avalon Exchange and have barely worn. When it was done he said “we didn’t take anything, there’s your bag” and just turned around with his back facing me after I waited forty minutes for it to be processed and was holding items I was planning on buying. Really gave me a bad vibe. I could tell it was very busy today but it was just not a great experience; one employee was trauma dumping very loudly throughout the store, no one smiled, they repeated the same songs over the speakers during the hour or so I was there. I don’t know what happened since they shut down the Instagram and since I was a loyal fan a few years back, but I’m so disappointed. I hate leaving bad reviews but I really wish it went back to finding genuinely solid pieces for affordable prices (lots of items for 15-20 bucks that aren’t even worth that price).

First time experience going here and be warned, the employees are NOT friendly at all. All employees look the other way when walking in and are not receptive to customer needs. I even brought in two large bags of clothes and was told they couldn’t buy anything. I saw the board which said what they were looking for and had a bunch of stuff they could have bought. If customer service is this bad , then I don’t want to sell my clothes to them. Don’t recommend stepping inside this place.

If it’s not Louis, Gucci or Dior. Don’t bother. I had a huge box of express, American eagle and other affordable name brands in excellent condition and they didn’t pick not one piece. On top of that when I looked at the prices, used fenti sneakers for $300 but this it’s a thrift store? I guess it’s the south tampa living

We found so much good stuff when we went here. Tons of designer labels and hidden gems. Definitely recommend!

This place is good for clothing (a tad over priced) but i gave it a 1 star because the customer service was absolutely terrible. Nobody greets you when you walk in, nobody talks to you or asks if you need assistance, the girl "working" the fitting rooms didn't even look up from her phone when i went to try stuff on. She asked flatly how many items i had and gestured to an open room. I felt like i was in a movie with stereotypical millennial teenagers who are constantly on their phones... and the rest of the staff were just loudly gossiping and cussing so the whole store could hear. i did not have a good time shopping here and i will not be coming back. Beware of buyers.Brought in a cache of items. They picked a hearty amount of clothing, jackets, boots and a purse. The offer was extremely underwhelming. I used to love going to this store. I’d drop off items and get a reasonable offer for cash or an in-store credit, but now they really offer penny’s on the dollar. Truth be told, I’d rather get nothing and give it to a charity, than accept such a lowball offer. Never did I think this was the roads to riches, but seriously they give you a fraction of what would be a low reasonable offer. I will say they were very nice to me when I arrived, but then the bag/s get passed along to another person who just dishevels your items in a large mess. Owell, not going to miss selling to them…but just a fyi to those who want to go there and get fair trade for items. Lastly, I read other reviews, and it would seem that there has been a shift in the store, not a lot of great reviews. Owell.

Fantastic styles, selections, and prices for buyers. Love to shop here and have shopped here for years.Left two buckets of things to be appraised. Was quoted a 2 hour wait time and told I'd be texted when my offer was ready. Came back a bit before the 2 hour mark to check on it. Employee said "oh, so sorry you didn't get the text, we're not buying anything today unfortunately." This is fine, that happens, but either they were really careful to replicate the order and manner in which my clothes had been folded in the bags, or they didn't actually look at them. I could be wrong about this, so take that with a grain of salt.Customer service was fine, but time is money, so 4 stars instead of 5. I do recommend Avalon Exchange for buyers. :)

If I could give No stars or a -5. I’ll do that. So they advertise as a “thrift and consignment store” But the most attractive items they have are Shein type of stuff and a weird selection of “vintage” but mostly old cloths from Walmart. Beside that I’ve sell a few time with them and, idk about the type of selection they make but all the cloths I bring is in excellent condition and brands and last time they didn’t took anything… makes me thing that the employees doesn’t even take the time to go though the cloths cause this time most of them were perfectly arrange on my bag, exactly as how I gave it to them and pass on a vintage leather coach purse (great condition), new vans, some polo brand shirts, Hawaiian/ bowling shirts and the list goes on. I’ll never come back would prefer to donate the cloths, instead of going and wasting my time and gas.
