We ended up being a little late but was still able to enjoy the whole experience. Axeplosion was very funny and great at instructing us along with giving me helpful tips when I lost confidence when trying to throw one handed axe. While my team didn't win any of the games, I did get a blueberry and a few bull's-eyes. Overall enjoyable experience!

This is great for a date, release some anger, or just simply have fun. We definitely enjoyed ourselves. We purchased our tickets online for the time we wanted to come in. we checked in then were given rules and instructions. From then on it was game time, you can either just throw the axe or play games. You have a hour and 30mins to throw the axe, so try not bring too many people along.

Axeanator is the man! We had so much fun! Taught us some trick shots, and the championship belt was the best!

Had a great time, and our coach, Barry, made it an axe-cellent experience. Most of our party had never thrown prior. Before long, we were hitting bulls eyes left and right. If you’re looking for something different, this is an awesome choice.Axe Man

No doubt the popularity of axe throwing is on the rise. How hard could it be? Wood on a wall, cold hard steel whirling through the air, burying a razor sharp blade deep in the grain and resulting in lumbarlordum for all to appreciate. As such, I believe it be important to be critical of such establishments because there are many out there and it's not an inexpensive evening. Overall my experience here was pretty alright. Got the job done, but nothing to brag about. Pros: award winning personalities of the staff. Overall very polite and happy to be there. Made the intimate experience enjoyable Cons: very small establishment. Some places have hatchets and axes but due to short lanes with little swing space the full size axes were not available. No alcohol or any kind and none allowed on the premises. I get it. Licenses are expensive and combing weapons and drinking usual a cocktail for disaster however some axe places do it anyway and the populace loves it. Hard to compete otherwise in todays culture. Difficult to find location overall. Tucked away on a poorly lit road in an even worse lit almost abandoned appearing shopping plaza up an unmarked stairwell, over the bridge/thru the woods and axe throwing you will go. Had to circle back a few times and still had the feeling I was about to find myself on the wrong end of an axe wielding by a murderous psychopath. Summary: if you live in the west shore area and you have an hour and about $30 a person to kill then not a bad time but would definitely bring friends because you likely will fill the building with about a group of 8. I think if these guys take their business to a better location they definitely have the enthusiasm to make it great.

Checked it out last night and it was the bees knees. So much fun and our instructor Axefault was the absolute cherry on top. Helped calm nerves and kept us laughing all evening. We really had the best time. Highly, HIGHLY recommend. We'll be back to try out the black light version!

Axfault was awesome and gave us great pointers on how to throw the axe. Had an awesome time playing different games. It was actually more fun than I thought it would've been.

WOW. If you're on the fence about booking an axe throwing evening for you and your crew, DO IT NOW! This was my best friend's idea and I have to say, at first, I wasn't too excited. Throw some axes? Okay, sure, why not... but I was blown away by how fun it was!You don't just get shown how to correctly through and then left to your own devices. There are a number of different games they have you play that keeps your entire 90 minutes full of thrills! We were cheering and getting pumped with adrenaline with each new game, and at the end, all team bets are off and it's everyone for themselves as you battle it out for who will take home the title of THE LUMBER LORD. Just too much fun!We will definitely be back and I highly recommend for a fun night in Tampa! Follow up with beer and grub at Cigar City Brewing for a taste of Tampa, too. :)

Well we didn't really know what to expect, but definitely a great way to break up the monotony of a dinner and movie date night. Bonus if you had some stress in the last few days and need to alleviate some of that by throwing an axe extremely hard as you imagine the person or issue that gave you that stress. The coaches were extremely fun and made it a great time. We had a blast and met some amazing people. Highly recommend this one.
