I received the rug about 20 minutes ago. They did bring it in but did not set it up. They said they were told only to bring it in. Although I appreciate all that Margaret in the Tampa stores tried to do after my complaint I was promised two weeks and there was no communication up to that point. It should not have taken two months to receive the rug. The lack of communication was non existent and unexceptional . The portal was not updated with accurate information on when to expect delivery. As mentioned this is the second time I've had a problem with purchasing home furnishings from Ballards. Therefore, I have no intentions of ever shopping at Ballard again or recommending your company. The hassle and headache is not worth it.

I thought sales people were hired to sell furniture to walk in customers. Three sales people in the store last weekend. Nobody bothered acknowledging us and we were in the store for a good 10 - 12 minutes. Looking to furnish another waterfront home and a little tired of the Sarasota coastal look. We thought Ballard would be a great source to furnish the fam room, 3 BR, 2 entrance areas and a home office but it’s not. Left with someone finally speaking to us by just telling us to have a nice day! Sadly disappointed. Two stars because I do love many of their pieces.

I came here with my mother right after visiting Crate & Barrel (where we had excellent service). My mother has just moved here and is buying all new furniture: Headboard, night stands, chest of drawers, dining table and chairs as well as living room furniture. So not a small sale. We had such a bizarre experience at the new Ballard store in Tampa. There were at least 4 sales people and only one other customer in the store. Not one person acknowledged us or even said "hello, may I help you." We just wandered around looking at things for about 10 minutes and still, not one worker said hello. We sat in two chairs to test them and as soon as we got up, a worker rushed to fluff the pillows and straighten the chairs. She was very worried they were not perfectly fluffed but she didn't acknowledge us. So, we left and will take our business to Crate & Barrel which has beautiful streamlined designs and much much much more helpful staff.

This is an excellent business at the International Mall in Tampa. The associate that was helping us was very informative, helpful and friendly, but not hovering. Nice touch. There are lots of options and Ballard Designs offers free advice for rooms that you are redoing or redesigning.

I ordered several rooms of furniture prior to moving to Florida. David, Grant, Helen and the team provided outstanding service. From design, assisting with delivery and immediately replacing a broken piece. Highly recommend!

I purchased the 82" Oak Aldrich Glass Cabinet for my Antique pottery and porcelain. Before delivery there was a price reduction which Ballards honored. The cabinet is a work of art and was delivered in flawlessly perfect condition. This will be my most treasured piece of furniture.Rave 10 stars for Ballards and the JB Hunt delivery team.
