Don't make the same mistake I did. Trust these one-star Google reviews and don't waste your time

Should have read the reviews first. This place was awful. And the price gouging is real. My sister-in-law manages a veterinary clinic and she was shocked at some of the prices I was charged.Low-lights: 3 hour wait WITH an appointment, techs that apparently only work with a specific vet, vets that tell you cats aren’t really “their thing” when the animal they are supposed to be treating is in fact, a cat, lack of organization and teamwork, seeming to guess and do a let’s do all the things and see what sticks treatment plan, having to continue to explain that, yes we’re still waiting to leave now that it’s taken almost three hours, not being able to run a Care Credit card at the register or manually but only through the app which wouldn’t workHighlights: they gave us two Inaba cat treats. That’s it. The treats.Never again Banfield.*If an employee reads this, I’m aware you had an emergency earlier in the day and that apparently one of your techs just walked out without a word but that’s something you need to be up front about when checking in clients. If you’re that behind schedule, it would be courteous to inform your clients so they can choose to wait or choose to leave/ reschedule.

If you care and love your pet, do not come here. I made an appointment to drop off my cat at 11 AM. I arrived at 10:30 AM and did not get assistance from anyone until 11:30. There was only one other person in line in front of me and 3 different workers there. When I arrived to pick her up 6 HOURS LATER she looked terrified and they returned her to me inside her carrier smelling like pee. Im not sure in what conditions they keep our animals but given the reviews it’s not great. Mind you they have me no update I had to call to come pick her up. Just to hear they did a basic 15 minute exam for her. I asked why they couldn’t just have called me to pick her up if she did not need to be there for that long. Terrible experience. I cried when i picked her up from how terrible i felt.never going to a vet where i can’t be in the same room as my pet ever again. never coming back to banfield again

Was a 5 star, but due to a mixup on their end we got charged extra. The girl at the desk was rude too. Dont bother going here. They aren't worth the money. We got told on the phone we wouldn't have to pay for their mixup, but here we are another 50 in the hole

We brought our 15y cat here because she was not eating and her reg vet could not get her in until the following week. My cat passed shortly after visiting banfield. She saw 3 diff vets there within 3 weeks at banfield as she was not eating. They all treated her for asthma and completely missed/ignored a giant mass in her stomach. The worst part is I have to continue paying them monthly for a wellness package that we cannot use because our cat passed.

I never write reviews but this time I have to, do NOT bring your pets here, all they care is about money and nothing else, their insurance plan is a NIGHTMARE to cancel (currently waiting until July to cancel)Don’t take it from me, read all the reviews before signing up for the insurance!Any concerns with your dog?? NO WORRIES bring him by for a vet to call you and tell u is nothing WHEN CLEARLY THERE IS BUMPS GROWING ALL OVER HIS BODY, going to another vet and getting him checked there while still paying for this insurance which I can’t cancel before July unless I pay like 400 bucks right now, support small businesses , they care more since a bad review will affect them more than Banfield which is full of them.Don’t even get me started with the “drop off” service and how they lock them up in tiny cages, just ask to take a take a peek in the back ;)Don’t even tell me to email you to further assist me. Just want to warn people to NOT USE THEIR SERVICE.

I don't know what is happening with Banfield Hospital, which no longer treats one with their animal. Now you have to leave the animal for hours and wait for the vet to call you. Banfield no longer works like before. What a pity. We are no longer under quarantine or COVID 19 restrictions. But this practice of leaving the pet behind must stop. Banfield's policies must be applied and prevent veterinarians from continuing to do this. They must attend to one at the time scheduled for the appointment and with the pet being present. I made an appointment on 12/28/23 at 3pm and still had to leave my dog.I am forced to edit the opinion, since the response received is not in accordance with what happened.I dropped my Dog off at 3 pm and went to the hospital to pick him up at 5:30 pm. Two and a half hours my dog was in a cage and no one had attended to him. Don't tell me this is the best way. Get to work as it should be and stop talking and abusing clients and pets.Customers, it is time for us to start looking for other places with good services for pets since Banfield is not what it was and does not want to provide excellent service.

Dr Brown and her team are wonderful! I give 10 stars. I never wait very long and they understand the needs of my large dogs here. I feel at home safe and relaxed when I come because I know my dogs are getting the best care at an affordable price!!!!!

I brought my kitten here for a visit and was convinced to purchase their care plans at 89.00-ish a month. This was around April 2022. My kitten got sick(after visiting here)and died a month later and they didn't allow me to cancel the plan OR transfer it to another kitten! I was supposed to pay monthly on a health plan on a dead kitten! They sent my account to collections. Very predatory practices. They prey on people's emotional connection to their pets and try to bleed your bank account. They gave me weird vibes too. I bought the plan on our first visit, so, I brought my kitten back in after she had been sick (after visiting them! which could be a coincidence..) They strongly and repeatedly suggested my kitten get an X-Ray which their plans don't cover and it was an out of pocket expense! Wow, of course the x-ray came back normal and they were 475.00 dollars richer from my payment for the x-ray! I pray people like this, ones who benefit from and perpetuate predatory practices on their consumers, consumers who are struggling to survive and work hard for their income, I pray they have a merry Christmas and a happy new year! ?

I have been taking both my dogs to banfield since they were puppies- one is 7 and the other is 5. I have not had a negative experience there- the staff are great and so are the doctors- During Covid, they had the drop off service and not an in person visit as an option, I didn't really like that, but I understood why they did it. I also have taken them a few times where urine samples could not be collected because I walked them, and they peed prior to visit. I would have wished they told me not to walk them prior to their appointment visit, nothing to complain about- just mentioning a few hiccups I have had with them over the last 7 years- I would keep my babies with them until their last breath or mine- they have been good to us over all. Th black girl is 7 years old, her name is maxie, the boy is 5, and that is Rocket

Not usually a person to write a review on google, but whatever you do NOT bring your dog here.Instead of simply asking for a sample of my dogs stool, they shoved a tube up his butt without telling us what they were doing first.I have been uncomfortable here multiple times, hearing dogs cry at the top of their lungs in the back in tiny cages for “drop off”. I mean really WHAT VET GETS WEIRD ABOUT YOU WANTING TO BE IN THE ROOM WITH YOUR DOG???!!?? They will try to scam you for more money constantly even if you get their “unlimited care package”.Extremely disappointed & upset with the service & overall customer service.

Money hungry vet! Don’t bother with these people! Took my dog and her puppies for checkup and deworming. Paid almost $400 and was told to bring puppies back in 3 weeks for second round of deworming which would be included in the amount I was charged. 3 weeks later go in to pick up medication to give puppies only to be told it’s an extra $80 for second round and now they need a third round which will be another $86. Don’t bother with these dishonest, money hungry people!!!!

Their insurance policy is a complete rip-off, and the cancellation process is a nightmare. I wasted more than two hours trying to reach someone in their cancellation department. Additionally, it's been over a month since they submitted blood for culture testing, which was supposed to yield results within a week, yet there's been no sign of them. The service is incredibly disappointing.
