Always a positive experience here. The vets are through and helpful.

We've been going here for about five years and always have a wonderful experience with both of our pups. The staff has treated them and us with kindness and professionalism at every turn - and gone out of their way to ease this very anxious dog mom's worst fears. They go out of their way to give our dogs the best treatment even when money is a concern, and are always realistic and sensitive about any concerns. In particular though, I'd like to highlight Kit. Yesterday, I called Kit with a concern about my dog's appointment today. He was very kind and patient with me on the phone and answered all of my obsessive and anxious questions to the best of his ability. Then, this morning when my husband dropped my pup off, Kit made sure to ask him, unprompted, how I was doing/feeling about the procedure. He also made sure to pass word along to Dr. Rubin, who then called me to patiently talk through my concerns and come up with a care plan for my baby that I was comfortable with. Kit really didn't have to go out of his way to do that, but he did, and that's why we keep coming back to Banfield.

Dangerous for dogs please keep ur dog home and treat them alone because they’re not better from yourself and the medication for dogs make them worse no vaccines no chips no dog food people need to wake up from this danger life for our dogs!!!

I’ve had my dogs, I have four, going to Banfield for 10+ years. One of them was put on prescription dog food for the rest of his life by a Banfield vet in a different city. We recently moved and needed to get the prescription again as he’s already been on it for years. We have never had a problem with a Banfield vet denying us the prescription until this one. I called up and asked for it and was refused by the person who answers the phones. Apparently when a Banfield vet prescribes dog food for life, this location can’t wrap their small minds around it and try to money grab for a pointless appointment. He also clearly couldn’t be bothered to even ask the actual vet either about the circumstance. I called up another Banfield and they took care of it without hesitation 3 minutes later.

Nothing but problems with Banfield. Wish I could cancel my monthly plan because it is not worth it

I took my fur child Cody. He had an eye infection and was given a salve and a cone so he won't scratch his eye.

Terrible customer service. Attendant was rude, the place was totally empty and wouldn’t accommodate me with help for my kitten in the 2 times I went in. Would not recommend at all

My dog got attacked today by another at our training class. I was really concerned about some puncture wounds that he had and wanted to get them checked out and get him some antibiotics if he needed them. I thought cool I have the pet wellness plan for him, this should be no problem. But boy was I wrong. I literally called around 10 banfield hospitals near my house out in largo and everyone I called either couldn't or wouldn't take me. I understand it was last minute but I figured this is what I pay for,for good and reliable care. Everyone I spoke to kept saying I had to go to an emergency vet because it "sounded" like he needed surgery, and they wern't equipment for that, nor did they have time for that.(he didn't need surgery) I was so upset, thinking why am I paying for this and no one will help me,I can't afford to go pay hundreds of dollars just to get checked on,not counting any meds or procedures he might have needed.but finally I called this location and they agreed to wait for me to drive 40 minutes to go see him and the staff was so amazing. They were so good with my boy and they were so quick and thorough on explaing to me what they were doing to help him and what I needed to continue to do for him at home. The vet was absolutely wonderful, she saw my pupper instantly and took care of him within a half an hour. I am so grateful to these guys and I will be driving here from my area just to get the great care. And good experience from now on. I definitely recommend this vet 100%.

Poor service. Slow wait times even with an appointment. Still only drop off only and the staff takes a very long time to answer the phone and come get the pet. They have also mixed up our dogs prescriptions before, as well as overcharged us. The prices are insane. Prescriptions on Chewy are less than half the price at Banfield. Unfortunately we are stuck here until our wellness plan is up.

We've taken our 2 dogs here for 5 years. Since Covid, they won't let you go back with your pets. They make you drop them off and pick them up hours later even for a simple visit. However, if you owe them money, they welcome you in & staff even pulled down their mask and stood right next to me at the counter. Funny how that works! My dogs are anxious and I won't subject them to another solo visit here. I dislike Dr. Rodriguez who is rude and condescending. I cancelled my pet insurance for both - like it helped when 1 dental surgery was $600 out of pocket WITH their insurance. Find a nice Vet who loves animals and avoid this corporate office that's more concerned with $$ than your fur baby.
