Bank of America will not take care of you.I have been with BoA for literally half of my life. They were my first bank. 16 years later, I've taken out my first credit card, a Bank of America Unlimited Cash Rewards (Secured?). I signed up with the rep. telling me how it has a $200 bonus cash promotion if I spend $1000 within 90 days of opening my account. I was made to pay a $100 security deposit to open the line of credit, never being told that this changes the card and the offer I'm eligible for.<90 later: I've worked my butt off taking extra shifts so that I could afford a little extra spending—building my credit and working towards that sweet sweet bonus cash— I'm excited, because that promo would really come in hands as I'm moving to my first apartment in the next 2 weeks.I called just now to confirm that I've met my obligations to earn the rewards, and to ask when that would be available to me. Technically I had to call twice, because the first time I was disconnected after waiting for 20-30 minutes. When I finally got someone on the second try, I was immediately told that they don't see any promotions on my card/account. Hailey, the representative who took my call, (who was so thorough and gentle with me) then took THIRTY MINUTES before finding the one specific line about the secured version of the card, which is different from the information I was every directed to when I started the process. Secured cards, as it turns out, are not eligible for the $200 promotion. Also, the deposit listed on the new webpage was different from what I was made to pay, so another discrepancy on BoA's part.I asked how she can make this right. I told Hailey that I didn't care if I get rewards or a direct credit to my account. She said she could do neither. I said, I don't mind if there's someone else who can better mediate this misconduct on the bank's part, but was only offered "Sorry for the misinformation" which I was previously provided. I really needed resolution, because the processes of going to the Better Business Bureau and the Florida Office of Financial Regulation seems like a lot of work I already don't have time for.Time to look into another bank or credit union.✨TL;DR After half a lifetime of loyalty, Bank of America misinformed me of the incentives and terms of my card, how it affects the publicly advertised promotion I was led to believe I could/would receive, took money for a deposit on a card I would not have applied for if I was given correct information, ran a check against my credit for said card, and finally refused to do anything but apologize for incentivizing me to exhaust myself to afford spending $1000 dollars I otherwise needn't have spent.

This is by far the worst branch I’ve had the displeasure of visiting. After waiting in a long, slow moving line I was ultimately told I was not in the right line and needed to wait at an unmanned desk. Although I didn’t have to wait long there, I was ultimately given the customer service phone number. Absolute nonsense. If you need anything other than a simple deposit completed I don’t recommend going to this branch.

My complaint is with Jonathan Rodriguez VP Financial Center Manager.Maritza the main teller has always been very helpful in all of my banking needs.I can only assume that Rodriguez is new and maybe needs training. I have banked with BOA for 38 years, and have never been treated so disrespectfully. His lack of professionalism shows when a bank manager discusses an issue out loud,in front of other customers to hear, from behind the counter.

If you get married, just open up an account with a different bank. A simple last name change has been impossible for my wife. They have given us wrong information this whole process. Updating her passport was a 1000 times easier. Zero stars was not an option, so here we are…

Horribly slow, I will never come back to this location One teller, one floor manager, 3 or 4 financial advisors, one huge line of customersThe teller Mary was very nice but also very very slow2 of the financial advisors didn't have any clients and the floor manager wasn't doing anything. She walked to a storage closet in the middle of the branch and shuffled some stuff around some drawers twice. I don't know how banks are set up employee wise but surely someone could have helped Mary knock out some of the line. I waited 25 minutes, there were 4 people in line in front of me but one left out of frustration from how long it was taking. So it took Mary 25 minutes to handle 3 customers and no assistance from the other employeesEdit: Mary did get a little assistance, when I walked in, the floor manager was helping Mary with the current customer. Also Mary was having trouble with something one of the other customers in front of me was trying to do, Mary rung a bell to bring the floor manager over for help but the floor manager was MIA so Mary had to leave her post to go find the manager and bring her back to the teller window, she helped Mary for a couple minutes with that current customer then went back to the floor and to seemingly do nothing while there was still a line of customers waiting to be helped by Mary

Seems like BOA is trying to drive away business - they are closing down branches and ATMs, so now this location is super busy and not adequately staffed. So it takes forever to get anything done, nobody answers the phone if you have a question, etc.... Customer service at BOA has gone way downhill. Just another huge company that makes it harder to do business with them for the average person.

Awful loan experience! Unfortunately, I did not suggest Buyer use BoA for her mortgage loan, most Realtors cringe when they hear or see a preapproval from BoA. Buyer wanted to proceed with BoA. First closing date was April 15, just found out today loan was denied - 75 days after original closing date. While I understand that Seller and Buyer's circumstances were unique (at least to BoA), it should not have taken this long to find out BoA could not do this loan! Thanks for confirming for me why Realtors do not like Bank of America for mortgage loans. I've had short sales run more smoothly than this!
