We had a great experience from start to finish with our long-distance move. The team took great care with our homes and furnishings. They went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied every step of the way.

As a veteran of 28 years in the moving & storage industry, I had a reasonable level of expectations. What I did not appreciate was that my shipment had to be APU/Rule 19.
Aside from that and much longer delivery timeframe, I had a great move. Did incur some damage to 2 antique curio cabinets, 2 glass panels were broken, shattered.
The crews however at origin and destination were great My driver Robert had enough labor at destination for the elevators at extra stop storage and main building , a hi-rise.
I would recommend Berger and Allied going forward.

Driver and loaders were all on time, and took great care to protect my furniture and possessions. All arrived in good shape . Directions for placement were followed under adverse conditions.

Over the last 25 years we’ve moved many times…across town and across states and have utilized storage between moves a few times. For our latest move, we require storage and used Berger Allied Moving & Storage to pack up everything and put it into storage while we wait for construction to be completed on our new home. We’ve NEVER had a better, more respectful, professional, careful or pleasant crew to work with! They arrived right on time, and were so very friendly and professional. Even the two younger members of the crew (who I suspect are barely out of high school) had such great respect for our home and belongings. Each crew member had a smile all day and were so careful with everything, while staying very efficient and keeping a great pace. They truly did an amazing job and we couldn’t be more pleased.
The other amazing thing about working with Berger Allied Moving & Storage was that they brought storage vaults with them in the truck. This means our belongings were loaded into the vaults and then those vaults are stored in the warehouse until it’s time to put them fully loaded on a new truck and then unload them at our new house. In the past with other companies, we’ve had our belongings loaded on the truck, and then unloaded and repacked into the storage vaults upon arrival at the warehouse, then unpacked and loaded back on a truck to be brought to our new home….basically two moves and twice the opportunity for damage.
I highly recommend Berger Allied Moving & Storage for your moving and storage needs!!

Craig and his team of movers provided excellent service at both pickup and drop off. They were careful with my possessions, able to answer any questions I had and took some heavy bulk items I was disposing of to the curb at my request. I have moved long distance 5 times in recent years and they provided the best moving experience I’ve ever had.

Use extreme caution. They moved my family from Tampa to Tennessee on July 3rd. As of August 18th, we are still waiting on a lot of our belongings. Things like entire bins of Christmas decorations, entire bins of jackets, home decor, a bin full of batteries and flashlights, a television, and many others. They have told me for a month that they know where our things are, and that it is in the warehouse and will be shipped. But it has not shipped, I have no dates, and no information. Now they want us to fill out a claim form with an itemized list of everything that is missing, their inventory number for each item, where it was purchased, original value, current value, etc. There are dozens if not hundreds of items missing.Update 8/28 - They shipped "our" missing items in 2 boxes from UPS. A very small fraction of what is missing has actually arrived, and they sent us items that belonged to other people. So other people are missing things as well. Clearly they do not have a good system for making sure that belongings end up in the right place. We are missing thousands of dollars worth of items, and now we have to hope for the best in the claim process.

We would not use Berger-Allied again. It was the most chaotic "inventory control" you can imagine. The packers used one "Lot" number, while the movers/driver used a different "Lot" number -- both "Lot" stickers were the same color (blue), and when our belongings arrived at our new home, there were at least 30 boxes/items with the SAME NUMBERS! We still have NO idea if all of our boxes arrived at our new home. Also, just before the movers were leaving we realized that we were missing an expensive specialty extension ladder and my late mother's rocking chair (priceless to me!). They found the ladder buried at the back of the truck in someone else's order, and my late mother's rocking chair mixed with the belongings of other customer's items! Days later we realized that another piece of our furniture was still missing... never to be seen by our eyes again!I notified Berger Allied's customer service representative. She said she would share the information with her manager, but since then... crickets! I've spoken with their claims department, and have filed a claim -- the woman handling the calls in their claim department could use a great deal of training in customer service skills. How well they process claims handling is yet to be seen -- we paid $528 for their "Transit Valuation" insurance! In the interest of all fairness to others, we could not possibly recommend Berger-Allied to anyone.

Made a long distance move with Berger. My driver was out of Dallas, I was in the Tampa area moving to Oklahoma. My new street was too small for the truck. My driver , Andrew rented a uhaul in Tulsa, loaded all of my things and drove out to my new home. It was a rainy day and muddy around new construction so they put cardboard down on the driveway, mats in the house and delivered everything without trashing my new carpet and flooring. Since I had the price guarantee it didn’t cost me a dime more from my original quote. That is OUTSTANDING service. I appreciate it so very much.
