No hidden fees; it’s just that simple! No gauging. Do your due diligence on the vehicle you desire. Test drive! They’ll show you the car’s history and service records. CARMAX is traditionally more money, but worth the hassle of rouge car dealers trying suck you dry. Their return policy is 2nd to none! It’s a sound decision purchasing from CARMAX. Also, consider a credit union when financing, usually way lower % rates…Also, CARMAX makes more money if “you” use one of their banking institutions. Again, try joining a credit union! Can’t stress this enough!

Overall great experience. But...Where you fall short, and was disappointing, is the vehicle was not detailed before delivery. That's something which should be done with every customer who takes delivery, let alone when you spend $53,000 on a vehicle . I think you should take pride in the final appearance of the vehicle you're turning over to a customer. I was disappointed.

Best experience ever when buying a new truck the salesman Bert went above and beyond due to my mobility issues but very disappointed truck wouldn't start 2 days after buying truck now I have to wait over a week for them to even look at it before fixing it and disappointed that all 4 wheels are very worn to almost no tread.

1st time in a Carmax and 1st time selling with Carmax as well, thank you for making it a pleasant experience, I sold my car got a check right away and was able to take my time and look at the cars in the lot. It was a nice experience without feeling pressured by a salesperson.

Norman was amazing! He made everything easier. He was knowledgeable and informative. He was easy to talk to and I felt I could trust him. This was our 3rd purchase from CarMax. I would not buy a car anywhere else. I have no complaints. Thank you to everyone involved with the sale. We are very pleased with our "new" car! I tell everyone whete we got it.

Shady business + Shady employees.My bf and I recently moved down here to FL and traded in his car a few days ago here at CarMax. The employee detailing & cleaning the car found my wallet I had lost in the car and instead of calling us back has been swiping my corporate card at the university plaza mall just after dropping the car off. Called carmax and of course defended their employees and probably won’t do anything about it.Nonetheless hope he enjoys the new shoes he bought with my card.

Don’t waste your time, terrible business practices.Update, as of today 1/19 Carmax did reach out to me to try correct this issue. Which is great but shouldn’t have taken 2 months, 4 different auto techs, and 2 separate auto mechanics and 100’s of phone calls to fix, at end of day I’m more pleased today than yesterday with Carmax. One final note, my service advisor Yancy is outstanding. Whatever they pay him it’s not enough, he was cool and calm in the worst side of me. His professionalism is off the charts. Carmax, better hang on to people like him. Far and few between.Sincerely Paul

It’s been a week and a half since I’ve sold my car I still haven’t been paid. It took multiple visits to sell the vehicle due to Carmax policies. They also made an error when issuing the check that has yet to be resolved by the business office or my bank so I’m out of luck on payment until either one gets around to resolution. I would suggest you go somewhere else for a more seamless buying and selling experience…
