If you call the Tampa branch, you cannot speak to someone on the phone, even after the national call center re-routes you back to the Tampa location. Plan to show up in person if you want to speak to someone, even if you already have an account. Very annoying.

Im from the Investment industry, and have been very satisfied keeping a significant personal account with Schwab for decades. Even now, both their online trading and banking platforms reflect better security and technology than say other leading institutions like JP Morgan Chase and Citibank. Finally, I get outstanding service from my Financial Consultant (broker), Carly Murphy, in the Tampa office. She thoroughly answers my questions on a timely basis. Carly even went so far to set up an in-person meeting today with Schwab annuity specialist, Michelle Roush, from whom I learned alot about the annuity product differences and other return details. Thrilled because I hold alot of annuities and my past / outside brokers never bothered to edify me! Thanks again to Carly, Michelle and Schwab!

All the service I have received from Schwab for 10+ years has been exemplary. I especially appreciated how well Michael Blazina integrated my capital expenses into my retirement planning. Too many people and places only look at their regular monthly budget and forget to account for the infrequent but known upcoming big expenses, like roof and A/C replacement.
When I did need to transfer money, their security was good and the move was efficient.

Can’t get a human on the branch phone. They lost my paperwork and I’ve been with Schwab a long time. What’s the point a of a branch office if they can’t even sign an account verification form? Seems like a brick and mortar store is just a billboard.

Have nothing but Positive things to say about TJ Farrell. Regularly stays in touch and is always prepared and thorough when we meet. If out of office let's us know in advance and who to connect with in his absence. Real credit to Charles Schwab.

I’ve got to say I read the negative reviews & took them with a grain of salt , but you need to visit this place is person to really take into account how much a disservice they are providing to Schwab customers . I live in DC so my expectations & standards of service are a bit higher . The interaction I had with one of the “financial experts” & I use that term loosely was ….,disappointing , it was a strange dynamic between not having a clue about what she was discussing & not really making an effort to help me . The higher ups should really look into doing some serious damage control or they’ll end up tarnishing the reputation of Charles Schwab . I have a significant amount of holdings with this company . I know for a a fact if the woman I spoke with pulled up my account she would’ve been greatly …humbled . My Washington DC branch takes very good care of me so I’ll just be conducting business with them once my contract is Tampa is done . Do better ,

They have many advisors....I called to make an apt. on mon. by thurs still no call back. They don't pick up the phone. Kicks out to the national number they reached out to the branch to have them call me. So not even an email to the branch could get a call back. No service.
