On the way to Tampa airport I needed to refill the hired car I put $30 of gas in the car but it only took $18 so went back in gir a refund and was told it would be refunded on my travel card .Back in the uk I contacted my card holder and no refund was pending. Avoid this Garage like the plague..No wonder the reviews are negative apparently lucky to not have had it towed away..

Multiple broken gas pumps. One software issue, one didn't even read cards, and one barely trickles gas at a speed of less than a gallon in 3 minutes and the owner wanted to cop an attitude. He tried to tell me that I should just stand there with the super slow pump for forever while it barely trickled gas.

This station partners with a local towing company that will tow your vehicle if you park in their parking lot while using their convincente store. What a scam. Save your time and hassle, and avoid it.

Dont shop at this gas station. Walk out and go to chipotle or leave the parking lot AT ALL and you're getting your car towed. Evidently they dont consider you a customer once you leave the parking lot.

The owner/manager let's workers of a towing company STAND outside and WAIT for people that park in the gas station and walk over to the Chipotle restaurant get their cars towed. The towing company has their tow truck hiding around the corner and as soon as you're out of view, your car is towed before you come back with your food (10 minutes).

The manager of this gas station runs a towing scam with Toolate Towing Company. Urgently had to use the restroom while filling up and needed to use it next door since theirs was out of order. I came back not even five minutes later to see my company car hooked up to a wrecker.
The guy admitted to seeing me try to use their bathroom but proceeded to hook it up anyways. Forced to pay $80 in cash on the spot to drop the vehicle (glad I caught them in time)
Also, the atm had to be refilled while I was getting cash out…I wonder why! The whole situation was insane, I’ve lived in Tampa my whole life and never seen anything like it. Truly disgusting

This gas station ⛽ is a scam. I pumped gas yesterday (28th April 2025) from here. Even after I stopped pumping the gas, the meter was still going. I was lucky that I noticed and caught it. Most people wouldn't notice it.
Even when u went to show the video proof to the attendant he said he can't do nothing about it. Didn't even care to give a refund

Beware: Predatory Towing Trap — Avoid This Place
I’ve been a regular at this gas station for years, but after what happened today, I will never return — and I’ll be warning everyone in the neighborhood too. I stepped away from my car for less than two minutes without walking directly into the store, and it was immediately towed by TooLate Towing — a company known for shady, predatory practices.
After checking reviews, I realized this location is a hot spot for this exact scam. Apparently, tow trucks sit nearby watching like vultures, waiting for anyone to make a simple mistake — and then your car is gone, hauled across town, and you’re stuck paying over $300 to get it back.
To make matters worse, the tow-away signs are poorly marked unless you’re actively searching for them, making it easy to fall into the trap. This gas station is clearly allowing, or even enabling, this kind of behavior — and I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a financial incentive behind it.
If you value your time, money, or car — go literally anywhere else. I’m in the media industry and seriously considering contacting the local news to raise awareness about what’s happening here.

Parked for less than five minutes to run into chipotle and as soon as I ran out, a tow truck was hooked up to my truck. Tow truck stays on the lot. Wrecker only takes cash and luckily, I caught him before he took off. It felt like a big hustle, maybe a kickback to the Citgo gas station owners. I had to go inside and use the ATM and the gas station is very dirty typical reflection of the owners. It was really disgusting. Do not park here for any amount of time. Lesson learned.

I full up my truck at this gas station weekly. It takes about 120 to fill up my truck. 120 x 56 is $6,720 a year. This one time I parked there ran into the chipotle to grab a to go order. My truck go towed!!! Had to pay $214.00 on the spot to get him to drop my truck. I WIll NEVER SHOP AT THIS GAS STATION AGAIN. Lesson learned!!!

Do not stop here!!!!!!!!. They allow a towing company to sit on their property and entrap people into paying bs towing fees. Sad how some can so easily take advantage of others
