I dont know her name but she was Shorter Hispanic and of a bigger build. She claimed to be a manager She wasn’t even in proper uniform, She was wearing a CVS T Shirt and pajama pants. She was extremely rude. My wife sent me to pick up a package, I came in with her ID and the paper and even had her on facetime and permission to relinquish. This woman gave me a hard time and attitude. My wife doesn’t have the free time to pick this up.
Saying it doesn't matter and for safety reasons?
She proceeded to ask me how would I feel if someone came and got the package for me? Im sorry but if I sent my wife to get my package and I give her my ID and my package slip with written permission? Absolutely.
This CVS used to be a great store.
They used to care.

As an American American Woman, as soon as I arrived at 220 Madison Street Tampa location I was profiled. I was dressed nice and neat, although that didn't matter, nor should it. The Manager followed me from the front door (Even though I said "I was picking up my online order) to the back of the store, while I was trying to shop, then back to the register, as though I was a thief. I was so uncomfortable I just picked up my online order and left. I have been a long standing customer with CVS even up North. I am definitely going to notify Corporate, as well as let my African American friends know that this location is profiling.

I walk in to find the person behind the counter yelling at clients... not sure what happened but he was very rude and condescending, we left immediately.

Watching the cashier yell at a client for asking help to locate something was entertaining, but quite unprofessional. Cashier followed that up with telling other customers who were thrown off by his behavior that they can go elsewhere if they don’t like his attitude… quite unexpected. 9/21/24 10am.

The good:This is a kinda convenient quick-grab-n-go place.
The bad: There is a loud obnoxious white guy that looks like a walrus thanks to his mustache that is just terrible at customer service and stinks of cigarettes when he talks to you.
But in general, good place.

I go to this store almost everyday since I work 3 blocks away. I always have a great experience. It is refreshing to see that as soon as you walk into the store somebody's asking you if they can help you. I have read all the reviews here and the people that complain about being asked if they need help when they walk in usually also say in the review that they do this to black people only, which is not true. I go to that store every day and every single person that walks through the door, of any color, is asked immediately if they need assistance finding anything in the store. It is great that this store uses that to help customers and I haven't seen it done at any other CVS I go to.

I enjoy the coupons and the percentages off...
BUT WHY DO I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD AND SEND THE COUPON TO MY CARD TO UTILIZE IT. WHY CAN'T I JUST TYPE IN MY NUMBER AND THE DISCOUNT AUTOMATICALLY COMES UP! RIDICULOUS AND I WOULDN'T BE SHOPPING HERE IF I DIDN'T HAVE THE COUPON B/C THIS STUFF IS HIGHLY OVERPRICED!

This store is walking distance from my job which I like. The older lady cashier is so sweet and attentive. Some of the younger employees could learn something from her.
I would avoid placing pickup orders from this store. 2 or 3 times now I have placed a pickup order only for it to be cancelled by the store for out of stock items. But when I walked over there myself 5 minutes later -everything I had ordered was in stock. Not sure why CVS advertises discounts to order online when the workers don't want to fulfill the orders. 3 stars for convenience and the nice cashier :)
