Very good group of veterinarians in people are top notch. They can usually take care of minor emergencies but will recommend a 24 hr emergency vet hospital such as veg.

We have brought our dogs Winston and Ted to Dale Mabry Animal Hospital for just a little over a year. We have nothing but praise for every aspect of this practice. Very easy to make an appointment and in the instance they're not available the urgent care they recommended was also fantastic. The receptionists have been great getting us appointments, ordering medications, or asking questions about our dog's care. The receptionists are always super friendly and sweet when checking us in and out. The practice's prices are the most affordable we've experienced in Tampa. Most importantly the care Dale Mabry Animal Hospital has provided to both of our dogs has been exceptional. The techs are so sweet, compassionate, and capable to handle and determine the needs of each patient. Every single tech we've had has been incredible. Terrance is the only name I can remember because he also has bostons! Dr. Johnson always provided super detailed and easy to understand information regarding our senior dog's, Ted, neurological condition. I asked her a question about something I had read online and she hadn't heard of it, but researched it and let me know her thoughts. She is a great communicator, very compassionate, and always took her time to answer all of our questions. I cannot speak more highly of the care she has provided to our dogs. We also had the opportunity of seeing Dr. Moore on an occasion and our experience with him was just as exceptional as Dr. Johnson. We were having a difficult conversation with him about possibly putting our dog down. Dr. Moore took his time with us, talked over everything, and examined our dog Ted. He was so sweet and so gentle with Ted during his examination and was very compassionate, informative, and helpful with advising us on what to do. Which I will say was the right decision. This is a vet practice where the vets and tech love their patients and their jobs. They are compassionate, skilled, and extremely knowledgeable. My dogs have received the best care from them. I wish I would have found them sooner!

My cat get very sick, being new to the area I was a little nervous about a new vet. They were able to get her in so quick and were kind and compassionate toward her. She was handled so gently and I couldn't be more relieved that they tried multiple solutions until one worked. Plus they were always communicative about pricing and expectations. Dr. Johnson even checked in the next day seeing how she was and providing further advice. I'm so grateful, thank you so much Dr. Johnson and team for helping and being the reason my cat is still here.

DMAH has been my dog's vet since she was a puppy. The care that she receives is excellent. Beyond that, Dr. Moore and staff are cheerful and concerned pet lovers. I always know up front when the cost for my services is going to be. They keep you aware of preventive measures that can be taken to prolong and improve the health of my dog. The officed is bright and cheerful. They make bringing your pet to the vet a pleasant experience.

Would be a zero if this was an option. The care here is terrible but what is worse is the vet techs attitudes and terrible customer service. The only good thing about this place WAS their grooming services. Their groomers are amazing and so sweet but I just found out that my dogs cant get groomed here if we don't use the vets there. Hmmm, as long as my dogs are up to date on their vaccinations and have been for their checkups every six months why would it matter? Well.....because this place just wants money. It is all about money for them. The amount of money we have spent with this place on useless unnecessary things is ridiculous but then when we needed some Posatex because we were going out of town they refused because they just wanted us to come in so they could charge more money. My dog has constant ear infections due to his breed and the fact that he is prone to them but they just want every dime they can get. They let him suffer until I could get him an appointment and then guess what? ...they gave him Posatex and a big bill to go along with it. I was just told by their staff that even though my dogs had their exams and vaccinations and all of their annual testing done yesterday at my new vet, that I would still need to set an exam at their practice to be able to get the dogs groomed. Why would I pay twice for this? She was snotty and rude. And FYI, I have the text messages so don't try to deny it when you respond, like you have in all of your other terrible reviews because I can and will post the entire conversation if you try. As I am typing I just get a message that says no need for the profanity maam...because in my last message to them I said that the reason I went and found a new vet in the first place was because of the shi**y service. If only I could add eye rolls here. It was a verb to accurately describe their customer service, I certainly didn't swear at anyone. They let my poor dog suffer for days over Posatex that they have prescribed to him over and over again, what kind of person does that? In this same text message they went on to say that legally pets need to be seen annually with the doctors there to be able to get grooming services. Legally? Really? I would love to see that law. What do places with just grooming services do? They make you bring your vet records and then they provide the service. This must just be a law at this particular place? Again I have the texts....and just now I see I missed a call. Interesting. They don't want the evidence in writing anymore. Disgusting. Teach your staff the meaning of customer service, they are rude and arrogant and I wont put up with it, nor should anyone else have to.

If zero cold be selected I would. Dr Moore maimed my cat by having her ear cleaned. My beautiful cat came home soaked and could not stand or eat or drink because of the damage done by their tech. They damaged her called horners syndrome. The next day it was like oh well she needs a hydration pack which she was given. Still acting like she had a stroke, her eye blown up and cant stand up, we took her the next day there for another hydration pack. The tech asked when we came in, the same one who did the damage, what we were there for. I wanted to beat him but controlled myself and told him we were there for another hydration pack. Dr Moore came out and looked at us but then the tech said he's going to lunch now. Didn't care he and his fat tech hurt my pet! So I left, went to Animal Doctors of South Tampa and they went out of their way to help her. It took over a month for her to get almost back. So this place is a sham. I wouldn't take any animal I loved there. Good luck if you do. Too arrogant for me.
