I hate this place I waited 2 hours just for them to say no road tests because of lightning miles and miles away...it's bright sunny out. Waited another 40 minutes just to get back my permitedit:hate is a strong word and i’d like to apologize.

The staff here are friendly and informative. They have wonderful, time sufficient customer service as well. Just to let you know they only deal with licenses and drivers testing at this location, not registration.

I call and call operators just pick up the phone and hang up. Fire the rep, hire someone who willing to talk the customers. If the rep don’t want to answer the call. Hire who is willing to do the jobs. Plus manager, supervisor, lead man , lead nurse . Just make it happen when the next customers call. Thank

Can’t get an appointment in a reasonable timeframe. Walk-ins are pointless. To renew a driver license I shouldn’t have to schedule an appointment for something that takes 10min. How is it a NYC dmv is way more streamlined than a FL one? Terrible service

It’s 4:21 in the afternoon, the 22nd of august, I waited about 45 min to talk to someone, which is what is expected. A woman answers and introduces what she is. I said “yes I’m just calling in regards to me mailing some information… interrupted WHEN DID YOU MAIL IT?? I said about 5 days ago.,as I tried to explain what the paperwork was for, she continued to interrupt me and state that it would take 30 days in a complete unprofessional rude way, I said well I would like to explain what it’s for and ask some other questions without being interrupted, and she said I JUST SAID IT WOULD TAKE 30 DAYS and hung up on me. She’s sounds like an older white lady. Completely unprofessional. An rude.. I’m a 100% disabled veteran served in the USMC, and I was nothing but genuine and called with genuine intentions of getting some help.. whoever she is. I hope you get fired. Find a new job. Talk to god, ask for help.

My husband needed assistance regarding a very stressful and long process of trying to get his drivers license & these people NEVER PICK UP! we’ve called 5 days during working hours for a whole week on the first light of morning and never get a hold of anybody & today a whole new week we get a hold of 1 person and they pick up out of the plenty attempts calling today and it was HORRIBLE customer service people speaking to each other even laughing in the background and the lady placed him on hold after all of that for nothing so we never got anything done.

That's my go to DHSMV or Tax collector office. You can book an appointment and they also do walk ins but you just gotta make sure you get there early. I have had a good experience with them either for Road test and first time licensing services in the state, as well as for driver license renewal.

I've only been calling their office for a week straight 6-10 times a day. I'd leave a vm but there isn't one. Oh and the operator, there isn't one of those either.

Get driver's license here. Accepted by appointment. Recording is difficult to catch, 3-4 weeks ahead most often. The employees were understanding with my poor knowledge of English: they repeated the questions several times, used Google translator. The road test was taken by the examiner Mani, a very understanding person! He dictated tasks clearly and also repeated several times, if I did not understand the first time and asked to repeat.

Visited in 2021. Due to pandemic the walk-ins are not entertained. I booked two appointments, one for driving knowledge exam and other for road test on the same day. It is better to keep sufficient gap just in case you fail the knowledge exam and want to attempt again right away. I arrived 30 minutes prior to my first appointment and I was welcomed. I got the ticket from front-desk and I was assigned to a window where an officer checked my documents, did eye test and took my photo.Knowledge exam was on a touchscreen which gets sanitized after each person finishes. There were 50 questions in the exam and it required 40 correct answers to pass. Total allocated time was 60 minutes, however no specific restricted time per question. The good thing was that I could skip the tough questions if I want to attempt those later at the end of the test. The result is shown after each question answered and it also shows the correct answer if wrong answer submitted.After passing the knowledge exam I went to the front desk again to get another queue ticket for road test. With the new ticket I was sent back to the same window where officer then gave me a document about road test guidelines and asked me to sit back in the lobby and read that. After that my name was called for road test.The vehicle was inspected to make sure the seat belts, horn, turn signals and break lights were working. Then I was guided to go to the road test area where another officer greeted nicely. I was given instructions via a phone call and there were no tricks in the test. I was instructed to do different maneuvers including 3 point turn (aka K turn), hard break, straight reverse, parking within 4 cones, stop at signal/stop-sign, right turn on red sign etc.My foreign driver's license was not accepted despite having so many years of driving outside of US, I was made to take additional tests.Overall, it was a great experience and a lot easier than I expected. I appreciate everyone at the office for their hard work which is resulting in efficient processing.

Grisel was an all star but the whole staff was friendly and helpful. Made going to the DMV a very pleasant experience.
