If you know me, you'd know I'm always looking for a good deal. When it comes to the Dollar Tree you'll find the deals if you take time and look around. I stopped in to buy a sympathy card (just .50 + tax) and found myself wandering around afterward checking out what this store has. Each Dollar Tree has different items, so exploring the aisles is worth the time. I'm not one to shy away from non-name brand items and found several items in the grocery section that are a fraction of the price at your local big-name grocers. A 24-oz jar of Susquhanna Valley manufactured in (PA) the good ol' US of A contains: tomatoes, onions, olive oil, salt, garlic, spices, and basil. THAT'S IT! No high fructose corn syrup or anything else. What's not to love? I'll add some pepper and mushrooms and may be back for more bottles. Then i found a 2-lb bag of Omega brown rice, never heard of this brand and the packaging doesn't give the location source but, hey, it's brown rice. And a good deal for only $1.25. If you're thinking of trying these items, all I ask is you leave some for me. I'm on a tight budget. Oh, and, yes, you can thank me later.

Aisles filled with carts to stock shelves difficult to navigate with my walker. I did however purchase a lot of their fake flowers.

This dollar tree at one time was a complete fail. That is no more. They have everything. I was pleasantly surprised. You will be too.

This is an excellent store. Large. Nice selection. Clean. Nice and friendly staff. People are courteous and respectful here. While this store is out of my way, I will definitely be coming back here again.

Came looking for my sugar-free butterscotch candy. They were all out at my regular location but I stopped here and got my butterscotch candy fix.

I have a family member who every Christmas wants a gift card to the Dollar Tree so I oblige and grab one. This year, I stopped by this location and I don't think I'll be back. Now, all I did was essentially get in line and check out. I never looked around the store at all, but I did notice it seemed pretty big and well-stocked at least for the holiday items I saw towards the front of the store. Why, tell me why, do Dollar Tree lines take forever? An Aldi's cashier they were not. The lines kept getting longer and longer and honestly I started to feel badly for the two associates since it seemed almost out of control, but they didn't seem to mind. Then I finally got to the register. I handed the associate the gift card and said the amount and the associate replied, "I don't know how to do that." And sort of just stood there. He said, "can you ask her?" while he pointed to the other person on the register. What was I going to do, get back in line and hope she knew how to do it? I said, no, can you ask her and the other associate overheard and looked over and asked what I needed. When I said I needed a gift card, she couldn't do it either! So yet another associate, which I think was a manager to finally come over while others passed by me in line to finally get my gift card. Next year I might just send cash. Employees should know the processes of the store.
