I recently visited Dollar Tree Store #974, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. From the moment I walked in, the store felt chaotic and overwhelming. Merchandise was scattered everywhere, making it difficult to navigate the aisles. Large carts full of unpacked freight cluttered the floor, further contributing to the disorganization. The overall atmosphere felt more like a warehouse in disarray than a retail store.
The checkout process was just as frustrating. The line of customers extended all the way back to the aisles, and despite the obvious crowd, only one register was open for what felt like an eternity. It took about 30 minutes before a second register was finally opened, but by then, the damage was done. The lack of urgency and attentiveness only added to the frustration.
As for the employees, they didn’t leave much of a positive impression. They were neither particularly friendly nor seemed happy to be there. While I understand that retail work can be stressful, a little professionalism and courtesy go a long way in making a bad situation feel more manageable.
Additionally, I overheard an employee telling a customer that the store had no restroom. I’m not sure if this is true, but it certainly adds to the inconvenience of shopping at this location.
Overall, I cannot recommend Dollar Tree Store #974 to anyone. The combination of a messy, unorganized store, slow service, and lackluster customer engagement makes it an experience I would rather not repeat. The entire visit felt like navigating a war zone, and I left feeling more stressed than when I arrived. Management needs to address these issues promptly, as this store is far below the standard I’ve come to expect from Dollar Tree.

I love the store, the only problems is this.
In the morning the people are working. Who are in the hallway filling the line, are to rude.
They don't want work there . They seem like they want attack the customer.
They shouldn't argument with the client for simple questions that the client ask.
Today in the morning happened again.
Please do something about that. Thanks.😊

I called the store on12-20-23 130p and was greeted by a rude abrupt female. I'm well aware of customer service & sometimes it can be a thing of the past however you do run across ones that do that job very well & she was not one. I do believe they get a paycheck for their job. Many times websites are not updated especially for their hours of operation. Therefore a call could be greeted by a nice staff member who simply gives their hours of operation without the attitude. Not in this case. I did thank her once I got the correct hours and she just hung up must have been because I called her honey when thanking her. Merry Christmas young lady.Too bad I only have this one dollar tree that is close to me. I never saw that in other Dollar Tree stores. I will be there this week & will see if a public review is warranted good or bad.

The location at Britton Plaza in Tampa is continually not well stocked with popular items. They are frequently out of these items such as sodas, and many of the other food items.

Horrible staff at the Britton Plaza location. They are rude,snotty and act like you are bothering them. They all need retraining on how to act with customers. WOW.

The store is a mess, full of unemptied boxes like a warehouse. A cashier on a Sunday. The line of people from end to end. Manager in office doing nothing.

Smells like urine, always lots of boxes everywhere. Shelves empty maybe they just don't have enough staff. Employee are always very nice but you can tell they are overworked and undervalued.
