Im all for animal health but when they take advantage of pricing due to they are considered an "urgent" care facility is a bit much. A private vet can cut a dew claw and spay and only charge a fraction of the price. Nice place and nice people but take your animal to a private vet first guaranteed you wont be charged as much.

Absolutely love this animal hospital. Dr. Bajc and the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. We came in for a second opinion and they were able to manage my dog's case within the first visit. They really know what they are doing, and were so patient with my very anxious dog. So glad we found this top notch veterinarian.

I would give them 10 stars if it were possible. We have been going to this vet for a little over 2 years with our 6 dogs, one cat and 2 pups that have since passed away. The staff is always so pleasant and just wonderful to interact with. They all always have a smile on their face when I know some days are not so easy in the vet field. When 2 of our dogs were in hospice care they made that very difficult time so much easier during my weekly visits and took top notch care of them until the end. We see Dr. DeNitto and Dr. Weiner but I would be comfortable seeing any vet in the practice. Both Dr. DeNitto and Dr. Weiner are so helpful, knowledgeable and truly care about our animals and their well-being. It's also super helpful that the practice has the ability to do ultrasounds and advanced testing so not needing to go to another hospital for these tests. The fact that they do titer tests instead of vaccinating when it's not needed is amazing to me. I used to have to request titer tests at our old vet's office for double the price. I can't say enough about how amazing the whole practice is and how happy we are to have moved to the area and found the best place for our kiddos. They have been a blessing for our family and worth every penny to get the absolute best care.

Have you ever been to a veterinarians office where they greeted you with a smile, offered you drinks, had chips and snacks readily available? I had never either. Until I walked into Temple Terrace animal Hospital. The staff were able to see me and my sweet long-haired dachshund for an emergency visit. They checked her out, gave her some love and took care of business at a fair price. We then returned for their annual shots... I am not sure we will continue the annual shots there due to the expense. Between the staff and the vets and the care I would highly recommend this place they will be my pups doctors

My experience could of easily been 5 stars if it wasn't for the vet Necia Godzisz and vet tech Gabby. Every time they left the room I could hear them talking about me and my pet in the next room and by the way they were laughing I could tell it wasn't anything nice.

Our senior dog had a sudden and concerning medical issue and our regular vet was unavailable. They helped us contact Temple Terrace Animal Hospital and I'm so glad they did! Temple Terrace Animal Hospital was able to get our dog in within an hour of us calling and everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional and caring. Our dog weighs 75 pounds and was not feeling well after his visit so he was having trouble getting himself into the car. I went back inside, and DIANA immediately offered her assistance. It took two of us to get him in the car and Diana even sat in the car petting him for a few minutes to make sure he was comfortable. Truly above and beyond my expectations and I'm sincerely grateful for the care we received.

I can't say enough great things about Temple Terrace Animal Hospital. I had an early-morning emergency with my dwarf hamster and after calling close to every vet in Tampa, Temple Terrace was the only office who 1) took small critters and 2) was willing to make time on short notice. Unfortunately, my hamster did not make it but the staff at Temple Terrace helped her and I so much. They treated my pet with so much kindness and care, and made a terrible day a bit more bearable for me. I will absolutely be taking my other animals here for their regular care whenever possible going forward.

Best animal hospital in the area. We care so much about our fur babies we can't put a price on it so if you're looking for a place for cheaper you should go to the humane society. However after transferring from a vet in Riverview that we thought was great didn't seem to be that great when we got to actually find out the issues with our baby the vet truly cared to explain what was wrong with her and the steps we needed to do to take care of her. I won't be taking my fur baby anywhere else.

I moved my dog to this hospital not so long ago thinking it was the best choice.I am not going anymore due to several reasons .....I want to point out for the pet owners that if your pet has issues staying friendly with the doctor for a comprehensive exam which costs $69, THEY WILL NOT GET NEAR YOUR PET AND INSTEAD EXAMINE THE PET WITH THEIR NAKED EYE FROM A DISTANCE. To me this is ridiculous because you don't become a Veterinarian to treat friendly animals ONLY?????? This has happened to me twice already today I took my sick dog who suffered a heat stroke to get checked to see what medication/ analysis was needed as a follow up appointment and nothing was done because he became a little aggressive with the doctor. My question is how is it ethical to charge for a comprehensive exam when nothing was seen or touched ???? If they can't deal with dogs that are not quite friendly then they should be honest and ask you to find somewhere else where the resources and the patience needed to deal with it is offered and guaranteed. Also, please do yourself a favor and if you decide to come to this place make sure that things are done right and you're listened about your concerns without having to chase down the doctor because is easier for them to send their techs for results and questions you might have than coming themselves instead for any concerns you may still have.

I'm new to the Tampa area I needed to find a vet for my Abyssinian cat. I went to the Temple Terrace Animal Hospital because of their ratings and recommendations from other customers. I was thoroughly pleased with the staff and the professionalism of the vets.

I went here to put down my cat, Amidala a month ago. I just checked my mail and they sent me a card wishing my family and I well. This team is the most helpful and caring team I have dealt with to this day. Thank you Temple Terrace Animal Hospital for all you did and continue to do.

I rarely post a review but this group of animal hospitals is outstanding. The best veterinarian we have ever encountered. From when you walk in the door to leaving staff are so friendly and caring. Nothing is too much trouble. My dog had been seen by 2 other vets, spent thousands, diagnosed with Pancreatitis which she was not symptomatic. We were at our wit's end when my husband found this animal hospital, 20 miles away but we didn't care. Dr. De Nitto came in, full of energy, and sat down on the floor with Maya while we told her story. She stopped everything Maya was taking because nothing helped. Sent labwork to Texas to definitely rule out Pancreatitis. She also had xrays, and other tests. Maya was given great pain control, and appetite enhancer as she had been losing weight and we waited for results to come back from Texas. Vet promised no one would just leave us hanging with no help and made a plan of care in case we called on a day she wasn't there. She called every few days to see how Maya was doing, her blood was negative for Pancreatitis and as she was doing well with her new meds and eating we decided to continue the new regimen unless she developed new symptoms. We knew Ultrasound was the next step when Maya started to decline. An intestinal mass and spleen nodules were found but unable to biopsy due to the difficult location. We decided to go with palliative rather than aggressive treatment as she is 10 years old. She is eating better than I have ever seen my picky eater eat and does zoomies around the garden. When she has no quality of life we will do the right thing but Dr DeNitto gave us answers and more time with Maya. Everyone working there has the same work ethic. No bad attitude if you call, calls are returned and Maya is happy. I highly recommend this clinic. There are 5 in the group and this was the closest but they are all excellent. You are never treated as just a number and a vet will call you if there is an issue. Other vets were too busy to call as Maya became sicker and whoever answered the phones would have an attitude and give advice they were not qualified to give. We wasted money and literally months on vets who just didn't know what was wrong or lacked experience. Sad we had to look so far from home to find a good vet but very glad we found one and Maya likes it! Thanks to everyone who works there, you are all awesome!

i don't think i've ever left a yelp review but this place was too wonderful not to review. i brought my cat in after requesting an appointment quite late the previous night and they emailed me the next morning to try to get me an appointment. the receptionist said they were booked for the day but she would try to get me in with the doctor because of the urgency of my cat's issue. they were able to get me in within the hour of me calling, i was blown away by their kindness and willingness to help. everyone i interacted with was so kind, i do not remember the receptionists name but she had green hair and was especially kind to me. i was very distraught over having to turn over my cat for a few hours but they were so understanding. i had my cat back within an hour and a half and the doctor walked me through everything she did and what the treatment plan would be. i would recommend this vet to anyone, the service was amazing and everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy helping animals and it was just a great experience. thank you!!

I took my cat in for a first time visit when I had some concerns over her excessively licking herself. It was so incredibly easy to get a convenient appointment and I was seen almost immediately when I arrived. This was absolutely amazing because my cat was so nervous and I didn't know how she'd do in a waiting room with other animals. Everyone on the staff was so caring and friendly. The vet took the time to gently look over my cat (I think this was the first time I have been to a vet that didn't grab her by the scruff to examine her). They pet her the entire time to calm her down and she did so much better than I expected because of this. The vet was honest in what she needed for future healthcare and the office visit was completely affordable. This facility also offers an urgent care option if you have a need to try to go in without an available appointment. I will absolutely be going here for all of my veterinary needs going forward. Exactly what you want for you and your pet.
