Moniquee, the Manager was phenomenal with helping us. She was very patient.She helped us find some hair extensions,and walked us all over the store. She explained all of the types to us, so we could make a good choice. Five stars to her!!

The guy who answered the phone was so rude to me. When I asked if they had blonde wigs, he just said to come and look without even offering to check. When I said, "ok", he just hung up without even saying, "thank you", "have a good day" or anything. I called back to ask if they had wig caps, how much they were, or if they come with the wigs, and he refused to tell me how much they were, and just said, "have you ever been in a hair store before?" which I haven't because I was just looking for a wig for a Halloween costume when I was met with this animosity. I asked if I could take the wig off of the display, because I've never been there before or any hair store mind you, and I was met with the most disgusted, dirty looks ever. I asked if they had different wig caps with holes in them so that my hair could breathe, but was met with more side eye and dirty looks. I asked if I was allowed to try it on, and again, was met with more dirty looks. Also, I was met with more dirty looks when I wasn't sure why I would need help trying the wig on when they asked. They took forever to find the correct wig, just to finally say they didn't have it. I ended up having to buy the display wig that several people have tried on because Halloween is tomorrow. I was met with more disgusted, dirty looks when I asked if I could have it discounted because of that. Even though I'm taking the risk that maybe someone had lice and tried it on. I was met with even more sideye when I asked if they had a student discount. The guy who rung me up was on the phone the whole time and didn't say "thank you", "have a good day", "how are you" "did you find everything alright" "sorry we didn't have any new wigs for you" or anything. He refused to let me leave without a plastic bag even though several times I said I didn't need it (because of the environment) and it's ironic because it would actually save them money, but whatever. He also rudely said for me that they have more customers and to basically leave and stop asking about the plastic bag, even though there was no one even behind me. I will go elsewhere next year for Halloween. Save your money, and shop somewhere else where they treat you like a human who is spending hard earned money in their store. Good riddance.

I’m giving this store 5 stars because clearly management knows that the hair business is a people business. I’ve gone into this store many times but every time that I’ve gone in when Jamar or Mark is there I leave feeling so good about the purchases I’ve made. Jamar & Mark are so good at what they do. They’re so knowledgeable, helpful, positive, professional, and honest! When it comes to hair honesty is key! They keep up with the trends so they always give me excellent advice when it comes to the products I choose! This is VERY important especially when I’m going for a specific look. They’re advice is like guardrails to get me to my look’s destination every single time! And when necessary they go as far as telling me HOW to do my hair as well! These two are simply amazing and clearly beautiful human beings because they made this girl feel special! Thank you Jamar & Mark for being who you are and clearly enjoying what you do because you do it so well! Hats off to management because it’s employees like this that makes me drive 45 minutes out of my way to get to your store while passing many other stores on the way!

One star because zero is not a option. I will never step another foot in this location. The customer service is awful from the woman at the cash register to the owner/manager. When a business think you need them more than they need you to spend YOUR MONEY at their store, bad customer service is to be expected. The Temple Terrace, Florida Ave locations complete opposite, extraordinary service. Black folks get the respect and service you deserve.

Staff here at this location were not active on the floor the day I came. I should not have to come and find you for assistance especially when there’s literally no customers in the store. An employee even walked pass me and said nothing when I was clearly in a section where I would need assistance.Only positive was the store was clean and organized but the customer service was awful.

from the moment i walked in, i was being watched like a hawk accused of stealing when i was looking for something which brings me to my second point, terrible TERRIBLE customer service spent 10 mins looking w/o any help. cashier was on the phone when i went to ask for help she rudely put her hand to have me wait til she was done with her conversation.

Shay at this beauty store was so kind and sweet and genuine it makes me want to come back again I am a young lady getting ready to start my career now because of her I will look amazing she was so awesome helping me out with small talk and telling me her helpful opinion ❤️

WILL REFUSE TO EXCHANGE ITEM EVEN IF UNOPENED/ BOUGHT AN HOUR BEFORE EXCHANGE REQUEST! be 1000% sure u want the item before paying since changing ur mind is against their store policy (as many people often do). purchased an anklet which i later realized i wanted to exchange for another item. the anklet was unopened & just purchased. the manager refused to exchange. went to location on busch, where they KINDLY offered to exchange the unopened item. receipt clearly stated if unopened can be exchanged. have shopped here for years, will not be returning!

I made a purchase of an item in this store, and the cashier was very disrespectful to me, she did not even bother to look at the invoice and told me that this item could not be exchanged, this item is not in the exchange exceptions, the The cashier is very poorly advised on this item and I know that if it can be changed, she was rude with her response with her bad attitude. I always buy my makeup products in this store, but, I will not buy in this store again.

That a huge selection of reasonably priced hair supplies video I think I've been in there many years ago I don't recall but I found what I was looking for during this visit and then some and the lady at the counter was nice.

I called to get information on a product a local barber says they sell but before i could even get the description out the young lady says no we don't have it. So i asked why don't you have and she's says " the barber Shari thingy ". Lol i can not make this stuff up and definitely wouldn't recommend them.
