FYI for consumers: when Enterprise posts a response to your review asking for details in an email and you do, they don’t respond to that email. This company completely ignores every problem you will encounter's with them. But they will say “Thank you for using Enterprise”! And be very careful renting from Dino at the Tampa/kennedy location.I rented a mid size SUV - Ford Escape from Enterprise Kennedy location on the 22nd of December. We drove it to Tallahassee as a midway point to our destination and stayed in a hotel. The next day, packed the car and immediately filled with gas. We went to visit a friend on the way out of town and it stalled out in the middle of a two lane highway. It was a curvy highway, so was a panic situation because I had my 3 daughters inside and it wouldn’t start. I had to flag down a truck to block us until we could get it moved to a side road. I immediately called roadside service for Enterprise. They called AAA and gave me a 3 hour window for them to arrive and actually waited the 3 hours. The manager, Ed, at Tallahassee airport, called while we were waiting to let me know they had no cars available and didn’t foresee us getting one and I should keep checking back. I contacted Enterprise customer service many times with no one willing to get us a car but telling me that I should keep calling local places to try and get a replacement. I should try, not them trying to get me another car! I had to get another hotel for the night because of no other rentals. The next morning, Christmas Eve, I started trying to get another car from Enterprise at 8am, calling and calling with nothing available and not one Enterprise person trying to help! The last person I spoke with told me to go to another rental car company because they weren’t getting any cars and emailed my original rental location because they weren’t open. This representative was nice and understanding to the situation-the only one out of two days of calling customer service. I probably spoke to 15 people at least! Many of which just hung up on me, when I wasn’t panicking and just asking to resolve the problem. We ended up with a Hertz car, their last (and most expensive) SUV, and an arrival of late Xmas Eve.The manager at our Kennedy/Tampa, Justin, location apologized and said he would refund our rental minus the day we used it and refund our PREPAID $42 gas bill. I asked for a full refund, plus our hotel bill. I didn’t even ask for the $30 of gas I had put into the car right before it broke down. He never called me back about that, and I have yet to hear back since December 29th.DON’T RENT from Enterprise! I have trusted them for years and have never had a problem. But, when I did, they did NOTHING to help! Their customer service was terrible and they didn’t correct the problem or offer to help in any way! They didn’t even compensate me for the extra night at a hotel, stuck in a location, or for my daughters and I being stuck on the side of the road for 3 hours. This was an extremely stressful situation that cost us our time, money, and patience during the holiday season—and Enterprise has failed in every way possible to rectify the situation.

4th time in 3 months I've reserved a car and when I get there they don't have one How do you show cars available and reserve it but don't have one Won't recommend this location to anyone

Had a reservation for a vehicle that could transport 7 people. Pull up, walk in, “Oh, we don’t have your vehicle, we’ve been trying to call.” Call who? Not me. Go anyplace else.

Don't waste your time with this location! A reservation means NOTHING! Called me an hour before pickup while I was coming from the airport to inform me no cars were available.Weekend ruined - AVOID!!!!

We booked over the phone just to find out the vehicle we reserved was not available. However, Justin went out of his way to ensure we left with a vehicle and that we were happy. We will be back.

DO NOT use this Enterprise!! Similar to other reviews, this location has terrible customer service and a confirmation/ reservation of a vehicle does not mean that they will indeed have the vehicle. The worst part is that they will not call you to tell you that they do not have the vehicle. I showed up to pick up my reserved vehicle, only to find out that they did not have one available. After a long conversation with the flippant team member there, he confirmed that they cannot help in anyway. What terrible business practices with even worse customer service. Don’t waste your time making a reservation and messing up your summer vacations. There are much better companies to rent from!

Do not use this Enterprise! The are very shady, an unprofessional. Their associate Sam included a $17.99 per day charge on my rental that was never discussed or agreed upon. This rate was on top of the normal rental charges. I would have never agreed to this extra rate if he would have brought it up to me. He showed me his iPad, pointed at the agreed upon deposit and swiftly asked me to initial in the box. He did it quickly so I wouldn't look at the fine print showing their added rate. He must get extra commission for this. I have been fighting this charge ($371) for weeks and their regional manager, Jacob is completely unresponsive. He actually closed the file and charged me the full amount without making any contact me after I was told that he would reach out to me. Their office manager, Juan tried to help but could not do anything without going through Jacob. Don't use this location, and if have to, do not trust anything that Sam says (or doesn't say).

This was my first time renting at this location at the Enterprise branch on W. Kennedy, but you would never know it by the way Sam took care of my reservations. He treated not just me, but everyone in the Enterprise center with dignity and respect. Many customer representatives are trained to say such things, but Sam was also a man of efficiency by attending and delegating reservations so as to get everyone out the door in an expeditious manner. I rented with them for 2-weeks without a hitch, and since they were closed on Sunday, Sam redirected me to another branch where my rental could be returned without charging me for an additional day! Needless to say, I will be back on a regular basis with more reservations. Enterprise is fortunate to have you, Blessings of the Day!
