Estes driver was supposed to deliver a door to my house from a Home Depot online order. Guy shows up today telling me he’s at my residence to pick up? Turn out he was supposed to pick up at Home Depot and my address was the first delivery address. Now all of today’s deliveries are cancelled and the extra money I paid for delivery today is now down the drain and I have to wait 5 days for them to deliver it. Come on Estes! How does that even happen?

Driving on busy one lane street, traffic backed up so left room at intersections for cars turning in or out of side street. Estes truck blew horn to get me to pull forward which I did not do. Also blew horn when I slowed down, with turn signal on, to turn off of this main street onto a narrow side street. The driver did not get anywhere any sooner.

Just today we finally received our delivery of a double door cooler at Bell Shoals Smoke Shop in Valrico , We order it about 3 weeks ago from Home Depot , the driver delivered it we ask them to open the box before because the box has damaged and that’s exactly what we found a broken cooler, when driver was ask to take it we refused delivery he said that’s between you and Home Depot and left the broken cooler in the store . After a trip to Home Depot and working with the managers the delivery company finally came back to get it but refused to remove the boxes outside the stores walkway ( not kidding ) I called and was told it’s Ñöt there responsiblity to move the box ??? Estes should be more selective in whom they subcontract out there work to these guys were horrible and would identify themselves just would say 3 rd party owners name was Edgar though….. Bad Business

At first, I was a little worried because I would not get my shipment in time, but Shelly Smith went above and beyond. It is people like her who make companies successful and earn a reputation for having exceptional customer service. Thank you so much, Shelly, and to the Tampa Estes team for going overboard to provide me with my shipment.

I've worked at several retailers over the years and Estes trucking has always had great, competent and courteous employees. From dispatch to drivers, never had issues.

Terminal to terminal tracking is adequate. The Estes staff in Tampa are great and very willing to help. The residential delivery process is atrocious. They have an undisclosed three day minimum time to move from the freight side of the lot to the home delivery side. Then they hand off to untraceable individual contractors that have no requirements on how long they hold your goods trying to fit in their schedule. There is no tracking and no way to reach those contractors directly. best to expect 3-4 days terminal to terminal and 3-4 weeks from terminal to your door.. with no assurance on handling. If it is broken or lost I guarantee it happened in that last mile. Awful experience. Next time I pick it up from terminal. So many phone calls.

Horrendous experience with probably the most unprofessional delivery driver. I waited 28 weeks for the delivery of an item. Spoke with a scheduling lady and asked for a 1 hour call prior to delivery as I live about 30 minutes away from the delivery site and there was a hurricane en route and getting gas and traffic would take up some time. Scheduling lady assured me that it wouldn't be a problem at all. Day of delivery, driver contacts me to say he's 15 minutes away. I said "sir, the scheduling lady said you would call me an hour prior to delivery, I won't be there in 15 minutes." First thing out of his mouth was "hey, no need to complain". I said "I'm not complaining, I can't physically get there in 15 minutes". He then becomes very argumentative, finally saying he would wait after I said I would leave my house immediately. 20 minutes after leaving my house, the delivery driver asks where I am. I said I'm about 10-15 minutes away and I continued to explain that's why I requested the hour prior to delivery call. The driver then very rudely said "well, I can't wait that long, I'll have to contact corporate" and hung up on me. About 2 minutes from the delivery location I saw the driver drive past me. Once I got to the delivery location, I contacted customer service and explained the situation and that the driver was merely right around the corner. After a very long wait on hold, I was told "oh yes, the driver told me about you, you'll have to wait until Friday". Now I try everything in my power not to "Karen" a situation up, but come on. An attempt at customer service would have been acceptable.

I had to click one but they get "0" stars because their service ......eh.....sucks! Didn't call 30 minutes prior to the delivery which was a huge inconvenience for me. The driver gave me an attitude when he came back to move the package to my front door. He talked to his dispatch in Spanish so I couldn't understand what he was saying. Then you'd think that they could hear the frustration in my voice with the multiple phone calls and final phone call to take the pallet away, but they didn't care, and left the pallet behind. Just another company with lousy service! I will now request all deliveries to my business be routed through alternate delivery companies.

They were supposed to call 30 minutes prior to delivery, I paid extra and wrote a note explicitly stating that. They have called zero times and apparently made two attempts to deliver according to the shipping status online.I called their Tampa location dispatch and they couldn't find record of my delivery and they were rude on the phone. Still waiting for my delivery to re-appear at Home Depot since they confirm it is in position of Estes.

Estes Express Lines , Tampa terminal is a very well run operation. i never have any worries when Tampa is involved in the handling of my freight, for delivery or pu. i tip my estes has to Des and the fine team assembled at Tampa.

Christian delivered our pool table today, we unfortunately put the wrong address for delivery and he happily brought it to the correct address after already bringing it to the wrong place, our fault completely and he did whatever was needed to make sure it went to the correct address. Awesome service, thank you Christian!!!
