The EVgo Charging Station in Tampa is a convenient and reliable public fast charger for all major electric vehicles. Located at 2001 N Dale Mabry Hwy near McDonald's and MOWD, it offers 24/7 access, is ADA-compliant, and supports CCS and CHAdeMO connectors. The station is popular, with drivers often waiting for a stall, especially since it is the only non-Tesla fast charger in the area, aside from Tesla Superchargers. The site features clean, well-lit facilities and nearby shops or food options within walking distance, making it easy for drivers to spend time while charging. The chargers generally work well, but sometimes there are issues such as overloading or some stations being out of service. Long wait times can occur, particularly when charging to 100%, which may take over an hour. The station's backend system has experienced occasional problems, but overall, it remains a good option. However, the limited amenities nearby and the frequent occupation of spots by rental car staff can pose challenges. Despite some issues, the station provides a useful service for local drivers and travelers alike.
Very expensive too charge your car here. 0.70 cents per KW

One of the chargers not working. Very expensive. No food, drink or bathrooms nearby. Only a 95 kw charge. But, it did work on my ionic5. Not many fast charging options in the area, so this was the best available option.

Charging area is always well maintained. EVgo chargers are one of my favorite places to charge my EV. I only wished that they were more EVgo chargers specifically within the Clearwater and St. Petersburg areas.
