Prices keep going up. I started at $35 a month a few years ago and now it’s up to $100 for a 5x5! Found a locally owned storage that locks my rate for a year and is half for a larger unit

La’toya was extremely nice and helpful for my move in. Explained everything very clearly and walked me through the storage. The storage was very clean with all the carts organized and put together, clean bathroom as well. La’toya even helped me throw away things i didnt need. You’re always kind of thrown into your self storage so it was a nice change of pace to have a nice person guiding me through.

We’ve been using this storage facility for a while now, originally with Extra Space, and decided to stay on with the new company. We recently had some questions and needed to make a few changes, and La’Toya assisted us. I have to say, she was professional, attentive, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Highly recommended!

I’ve had a storage unit at the Citrus Park location for close to 5 years and I’ve recently had the experience with working with La’Toya, the manager at Safeguard Self Storage on Gunn Highway! La’Toya was an absolute pleasure to work with, she listened to my situation and was sweet and compassionate and did everything she said she would. She called me back when she said she would and followed up with me until the issue was resolved. She is a true blessing to this location and very friendly and great to work with! Ive never had such a smooth stress free experience with any company I’ve ever worked with! Thank you La’Toya! It’s not easy dealing with customer service and I hope you are paid for your worth and all you do! God Bless!

La’Toya was an absolute pleasure to work with! From the moment I arrived, she made the entire process smooth and easy. She guided me through selecting the right unit, clearly explained all the options and plans, and made sure I understood every detail before I signed.
Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly stood out. It’s rare these days to meet someone who combines genuine friendliness with such thorough expertise. La’Toya made what could have been a stressful task feel effortless and even enjoyable.
If you need storage in the Citrus Park area, I can’t recommend La’Toya and the team at Safeguard Self Storage enough. Five stars all the way!

AVOID AVOID AVOID. As a current about to be former tenant of 4+ YEARS do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Bait & switch tactics for rental fees, they do not honor promotions to current, longstanding customers & overall disappointing service. My unit hasn’t had lights in 4 years. There are clearly pest droppings in multiple locations throughout building. Save your money & your
belongings and go elsewhere. Once SafeGuard took over I should have moved out. You’ve been warned.
