If you leave money in the accounts, they make interest on lending it and pay no interest to you, then have the theiving nerve to charge you a Dormant Account fee on the same money they just used to make money with. HILARIOUS! Thieves. Do not open an account or store money with 5th 3rd Bank. They will steal it.

I have a credit card with 53rd Bank. I am usually very punctual with my payments. However, during the pandemic lockdown, we were forced to make some very difficult decisions for our finances, resulting in four late payments. This organization placed four negative marks on my credit because of these late payments. I recently contacted them to ask if they had any pandemic forgiveness programs to have these removed. They claimed that they sent me notices during the pandemic that would have helped my situation, but I didn't see them, and there is nothing they can do now. According to them, I am stuck with these negative marks on my credit.UPDATE: In response their response below, as it says in my review, I had contacted them several times concerning this issue. Nevertheless, I did indulge them and followed the instructions in their response to allow them to look into this further. Sadly, they are still willing to fix this issue.

Do not bank with this bank. Marsha the manager has taken on of our contractors check $13k and won’t release the fund even though our company called several times to verify. We wrote a notarized letter to the bank stating we paid the check to the contractor and Marsha stated that she still had to call to verify! It’s notarize!?!? This is illegal and it’s taking from hardworking people making their life harder internationally because she feels she can. I would warn anyone who banks with them to steer clear of Marsha the “ check fraud expert bank teller”.

This organization after closing my accounts, (see my earlier review) has now started sending me marketing emails, even after I unsubscribed from all. I never heard a peep from them, when they closed my account. Literally 0 communication. When I opened the account, there was no customer support available on the weekend, and had no access to my account, and no one to help me. only after normal business hours resumed, (3 days later) did someone tell me initially I needed to use something different than the pin that I set up, for initial account access. I called four times on that day, first person just reset my password after 40 minutes on hold, then didn't even wait to see if that resolved the problem, which it didn't. 2nd call, they put me on hold and never came back 45 minutes, and third call I requested a call back, to which no one called back, I called 5 hours later and finally got someone who was able to help me. During that 5 hour I had to scramble to make sure my direct deposit didn't go to an account that I didn't have access to. Can you imagine, my paycheck going into an account, with no account access, and no way of getting any support until 3 days later? The next day I got a call back from someone at a local branch introducing herself as my personal banker, and I explained the difficulty I had the previous days, she just said, well you can come into the local branch, and we can help. nothing else, but I don't even know what I would have expected, maybe an apology, maybe hey we will let the customer service team know they need to improve. that's it, nothing but "have a nice day!" It was too late to have a nice day. As consumers we have nothing left but to take our business elsewhere. It's our only tool that gets the point across that this is substandard customer service. We have choices. I for one, have chosen to never deal with this bank again.

I couldn't figure out if this was the fifth bank or the third bank, so I'm going to go with the 4th. This is officially the 4th bank. Ever. Maybe. Beautiful shimmering towering glass structure in downtown Tampa which houses the bank and its headquarters - and it's pretty decent inside too. So they were friendly enough and I was able to get some money when I needed it (I go through my ATM money fast and end up with zero so often!) so I appreciate that. And I just really love the building that it's in, a beautiful structure. Minus 1 star for the ugh ATM fee.

The staff at this office are all about customer service. I've visited a lot of offices and this office is at the top for customer service. Great products and service and they keep in touch with me on the phone regularly just to check on me.

Had an acct there for several years. All of a sudden they start charging 11 per month for the privilege of using my monies. I do not open statements. My bad. One of several banks truth be told. Once i realized, i emailed through their system and received impertinent CANNED responses. Call to the banker who enrolled me found him no longer there. Sent forth the correspondence through but no response after 2 weeks. Went to Swann location to close acct after figuring that 132 or so dollars per year for the privilege of having an acct was USURY! Banker had audacity to suggest that i could have an acct without charges! Had auto deposit on that one. IF I QUALIFIED WHY DID THEY NOT MOVE ME?????? AND REFUND MY 11 dollars for 10 months????? THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Now- note that i had not been dealing with him, but with online customer service and former manager of that branch. His trial at " Well, you pay to go to see a doctor" was irrelevant and annoying. Actually rather insulting. I do not pay you to have use of my money. STEER CLEAR AND READ THE FINE LINE! That is all i am saying. Wells Fargo and Pilot Bank have much better client relations people. They might actually care! See review for Pilot Bank when i get the name of the Manager who bent over backwards TWICE in 6 months to help! Money does not make my heart pitty patter--- Some bankers should be reminded of what was once their priority-- helping the customer.

Wanting to speak with a person to get some truth regarding funding construction project Marker 1 Marina I am owed 63k on for 120 days. No one is talking and in the meantime I am out the money and they are the lender holding the money at the expense of my payroll. Thanks Guys!
