We stayed here 12/29-12-31 weekend before taking a cruise. It was super convenient. Close to great food in Ybor and entertainment (I recommend Acropolis, Copper Shaker and Southern Bell). The staff was friendly. Janice checked us in and since we were early, they stored our stuff until we could. Miguel, the shuttle driver, was very helpful and friendly. Free shuttle travel within 3 miles of hotel. Located next to one of the free trolley stations, which was very helpful. Hotel was clean. I would definitely stay again.

Everything seemed relatively clean. Front desk was great. Laurie, a young man whose name starts with a T, and Muhammad were all super pleasant and made us feel like we were VIP ?. Location is great for nightlife and strip of bars and restaurants.

We stayed here the night before going on a Cruise and the service was Second to None!! Top Notch Mrs. Janice!! Thank you for making things so wonderful! We even came back through when we arrived back to port from our Cruise to The Hampton and Mrs. Janice and Shuttle Driver Miguel held our luggage while we went to the Aquarium!! I was calling her Auntie by the time we left! Thank you Hampton Ybor and Team!!

Had a great stay at this location. Very close to all the action. Nice, clean rooms and excellent service. Tayvion checked us in and was very helpful during our time there with any questions we had. He always greeted us and was an absolute pleasure to talk to. This was very much appreciated.

The first room the A/C was locked and could not turn it down they were rude when we called front desk. A man came up later said there was nothing they could do, finally they switched us rooms. The breakfast was not good. They charge extra for parking , Also we noticed another $80 charge few days after we left. When I called they said it was for linen damage could have been a stain couldn't give a straight answer to what it was said to call back in a few days speak to housekeeping, he was rude and said the charges stand and it is what it is.

On 9/4/23 I made a reservation with the Floridan Palace Hotel, 905 N Florida Ave in Tampa. Confirmation #PC10059567226. On 11/19/23 I tried to confirm my reservation and learned this hotel is going through a rebranding to Hilron and reconstruction. I called Hilton and the customer service agent was not able to confirm my reservation or confirm that the hotel would be open mid Dec 2023. On 11/19/23 Hilton's website stated they would be accepting reservations beginning Dec 30, 2023. The google reviews from 11/15/23 had customers complaining they arrived at the hotel only to learn the hotel was not open because of construction. I got very nervous because I did not want to arrive in Tampa and not have a hotel room. So at 10:30am on 11/20/23 I made a reservation with the Hampton Inn & Suites Ybor City with the AVAC group. I thought I would call the Hilton again at 12:15pm to check once again. I finally talked to someone who could give me my new Hilton reservation number which reassured me the hotel would be opening on 11/28/23. I asked the agent to cancel the Hampton Inn & Suites Ybor City. The agent reassured me I would not be charged a cancellation fee because of this unprecedented situation. On 11/24/23 I discovered I was charged $250 for a late cancellation, so I called Hilton and was told I needed to speak to the Sales manager at Hampton Inn & Suites Ybor City on 11/27/23. Apparently she is the only one to allow the cancellation and reimburse me the $250. She called me back and explained she would reach out to AVAC to ask for a cancellation waiver. I called AVAC and they said they don't make those decisions. I have left 2 messages with the Sales Manager and am still waiting for her to call me back. I have had so many difficulties with this reservation - rebranding, reconstruction, inaccurate information. All I am asking is to be refunded for the $250 from the Hampton Inn & Suites Ybor City for the reservation. This is an unprecedented situation which would have happened if Hilton's customer service representatives could have given me accurate information. Thank you!

This is my second time staying here. Hotel and breakfast were good. Every employee we met was so nice and helpful. One man in particular stood out and made our stay even better. Tayvion (who we called Dallas because he’s s huge Cowboys fan)was outstanding! We looked forward to seeing him at the front desk. Thank you Dallas!Food & drinks: Good local restaurants

This review is mostly about the "breakfast". Of all the Hiltons I've had the pleasure of staying at, this by far was the worst breakfast I've ever attempted to eat. The only thing I can compare the eggs and sausage to is unflavored gelatin. There were no hard boiled eggs, or yogurt options like at most other locations ... The sausage patties were gray and looked like they were forgotten in the microwave ....The room and front desk staff were excellent. The shower had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which most of the other hotels have at least one of those empty ....

A night and day difference between other nearby Hilton hotels. This property was very clean; from the rooms to the fitness center. The staff was friendly and approachable. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. A wonderful stay, and now my go-to Hilton to stay at in Ybor.Rooms: Rooms were very well maintained and clean.Nearby activities: Lots of food places, cigar shops, bars, and clubs. Has a little bit of everything!Safety: Very quiet area during weekdays; picks up on the weekends. The property itself feels very safe due to the layout and the need for a room key to use the elevator.Walkability: Great location to downtown Ybor. Easy to walk to a plethora of restaurants, cigar shops, clubs, and other businesses.

Laurie at the front desk is amazing! She was so welcoming, accommodating, and pleasant. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The rooms are very nice and clean, breakfast is great, and the location is perfectly located. Once again thank you for being awesome, Laurie!!

Parking and main entrance is hard to find. Signage isn’t great. However hotel is exactly what you would expect from a Hampton. Stay at them all the time. Very pleasant and chatty front desk staff.

Great location in Ybor. The customer service I received at this location truly made the stay so much more enjoyable. Janice, who checked me in, was awesome and went above and beyond! Very clean property, would stay here again!

Excellent Hampton inn with. Location is on 7th Ave near entrance of Ybor. 7th ave was not my cup of tea at my life stage but this hotel is especially great if you like bars, clubs, cigars, roosters roaming around. If you don’t, it’s a Quick Uber ride or trolley ride to downtown. Staff Miguel took a lot of time to give us very helpful info! Continental breakfast was better than I expected and included scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle maker, baked goods, fruits.

For my wedding I blocked off 20 rooms for our guests. All 20 rooms were booked, and we had one cancellation. When I called to get more rooms, Caitlin (the sales director) told me that’s not their policy and refused to allow me to block off my rooms for a discounted rate for my guests. Her tone and refusal to work with me seemed ridiculous and lacking customer service. The hotel had empty rooms and we were bringing in so much business for them, so I don’t understand why she was so difficult and adamant not to work with us.
