There's a guy in there with an afro. Absolutely rude. I mean he literally does not want to be there. I would never come back here. If I do and he's still there its obvious they just need help, because my gawd. Its almost like he doesn't like humans. I kid you not. Never again. Hertz do better. Please do better.

UPDATE: Downgraded to one start - I decided to give them a second chance. Again - I received a text the morning of the rental stating that once again they are oversold. This is 2 for 2. Thankfully I had booked a duplicate reservation at Budget.
I have used this location several times in the past. My recent two experiences have been enough for me to move away from Hertz. The first one, I had to wait an extended amount of time because they didn't have the car ready because they were in short supply of vehicles and I would have to wait for one to be returned. Today, I receive a text on the same day that I am to pick up the vehicle (4 hours) to tell me that they are oversold for the next week. Using their suggestion, I called to see if another location could help - yes - one that was another 30 minutes away and much more expensive due to airport fees.
Interestingly, I could still go on the USAA website and reserve a vehicle for that original location for today.
Canceled reservation and moved across the street to Budget who was able to quickly tell me that they had plenty of vehicles.

The front desk staffs at the Hertz Adamo location are worth their collective weight in gold, even accounting for inflation! I honestly cannot give these individuals enough accolades. While being professional and productive, they are personable, proactive and impeccable!

The team here made the experience seamless and easy. I was able to get in and out quickly and returning the car was just as smooth. Will definitely look here again when I need to rent a vehicle in the future.

Consistently understaffed and rude. Long waits. Alicia is the only person that works there who tries hard to do the best she can with the people she has to work with. The store is dirty and not good representation of the Hertz brand. I will drive the extra 15 minutes and go to the airport versus deal with that customer service

Location can work on people skills. Hertz company as a whole is garbage. All calls/customer service is contracted out. Basically if there is a reservation mistake made on their end, good luck getting it fixed. Just cancel and use another rental company.

Placing two holds on my card because of some technical error on your end seems scammy and is wildly unacceptable, considering not everyone has those kinds of available funds. The only reason the rating isn't lower is because the two gentleman who were working were extremely polite, apologetic, explained everything, and provided the appropriate phone numbers to alert their finance department of the situation.

The vehicle I originally booked online through Expedia was not available, but Brian was awesome—he quickly made adjustments and provided an upgrade without any issues. The young woman who assisted us when we picked up and returned the vehicle was also a pleasure to work with. Excellent service all around!

Will never go back to Hertz to didn't give me what I put down to rent the car they gave me my deposit back they gave me what I pay to rent it back. I will never go back to hertz for a car will go to enterprise & get me a rental car.

This place is getting worse by the day . The day of 20 minutes before I leave got a business trip I get canceled this is so unprofessional because it no cars were back from rental why Allie me to book and drive all the way there to pick a rental that they don’t have . All they can say is go to another one like I have time to run down another rental car the day of.

Customer service grt. Cleaning of vehicle wasn't so. Usually pretty good on cleaning so I adjusted review. Emotions played a part on one less star. Brian does a good Job of explaining.

I had a vehicle reserved and was informed 3 hours before I was supposed to pick it up that they “oversold for the week” and did not have a vehicle for my reservation. Since it was prepaid, they took my money so I called for a refund, I was directed to customer service, waited on the phone for 53 minutes to be told that I’ll get my money back in 7-10 business days. Wasn’t offered any credit or anything for the inconvenience, I should’ve read the reviews before booking. Enterprise is across the street and they’ll pick you up, don’t waste your time and money with Hertz.

How can Hertz hold the contract for Ford and not be able to supply a Ford car to its customers. I can't my car fixed because hertz has nor Fords. I wish I could give a negative number in this review.
