Vegan veggie balls were SO tasty! Excellent and delicious, the sauces were both great, a little preference for the citrus one. Clean, great food. A must try.

I have tried the Swedish meatballs in the past & it disappointed me very much, but this ikea made it decent. The whole plate looked presentable, taste wasn't far off. I can't compare it to much of my personal experience. I've always gone downstairs for their hot dogs & ice cream usually. Their apple dessert was pretty good. Portion is small but it hits the spot for me. Also tried the ikea brand lemon sparkling soda I presume, it was aight. Loved the service tho. Everyone working here were efficient and friendly.

I tried one of every single thing they had by purchasing all five kids meals. It was okay for cafeteria food but far less than the tick tock videos would have you

Love those little meatballsWe made the trek from Sarasota to Tampa to visit IKEA, the huge home furnishing store. No visit is complete without having some of their Swedish Meatballs, which I did. They have a very large upstairs dining area where food is available cafeteria style and you bus your own table by returning your tray and dishes to a tray holder rack. It was surprisingly not busy when we arrived, we had our choice of tables. They didn't have any meatballs. At least they told us they would not have any for about 15 minutes. My wife selected the fish so she could eat and get shopping, I waited for my food, and as you can see in my photo the wait was successful. The meatballs with the gravy were great, and the savory went very well with their Lingonberry Jam. I've never heard of Lingonberries outside of my experiences with IKEA, it is just something else that makes IKEA cool. The dish included a scoop of bland mashed potatoes and some overcooked peas. They also don't offer Coke or Pepsi products, instead a different brand of cola.

It was just ok and the pricing was reasonable but I think it has been severely overhyped. I will probably never come here again, not because it's bad but because I could make my own food at home better and quicker.

A little bit on the pricey side (around $25 for a medium meatball meal, large meatball meal and one drink) but delicious!

This is a review for the cafeteria inside of IKEA. This is located on the second floor, and offers meals at a good value. However, the tables are dirty. We had to wipe it down before sitting down. However, the attitude of the service was great. It seemed like they tried their best to enjoy their job.The food itself is cheap, but not always have a good taste. Their premier item is the Swedish meatballs, which was good with the gravy and cranberry sauce. However, the mashed potatoes were disappointing. They had very little flavor. The Mac and cheese was fine. Overall, would recommend if you plan on shopping at IKEA. If not, would look at different options.

I had the shrimp sandwich and I haven't had that since I went to Sweden! It was good for a premade sandwich. Wish they would add to a fresh, room temperature croissant, but... My son enjoyed the swedish meatballs, Mac and cheese, fruit cup and mashed potatoes. The Daim cake was yummy! We even picked one up for the ride home. I was disappointed that the prices were incorrectly marked on some items. I went and asked the cashier and she said they never update the prices on the case and they change them every few weeks. Disappointing that wrong prices are acknowledged and nothing is done. IKEA is cafeteria style, so you serve yourself and clean up after yourself.

I Don't really go to ikea or have any of their food but my fiancée suggested it and this is why I liked it! As you enter the store you notice it's extremely busy, lots of moving people and cool furniture to see. The ambiance does feel chaotic because there is a large amount of people shopping around for furniture. The staff are polite and helpful. We ordered a hot dog and slice of cheese pizza once we got done shopping. The hotdog is pretty plain, not much seasoning or toppings to it and it is steamed. It's also tiny compared to other hotdogs you can buy. Same goes with the pizza. Plain slice of cheese pizza. Is it the best hotdog and pizza? No. Is it the worst hotdog and pizza? No. Is it worth the price you pay? Absolutely! The hotdog was $1 and I believe the pizza was $1.99. Because of this super affordable price in a very unaffordable world I give them a 4/5!

IKEA’s Smaland children’s play place discriminates and excludes children who are taller than average. Smaland is marketed as a play place is for kids ages 3-10, but my 8 year-old was excluded today because she’s over the allotted maximum height. Age restrictions makes sense, but when I asked why there is a maximum heigh restriction the worker said, “for the safety of the children” So I pressed further: “Is there a concern that she will hit her head on something in the play place?” I asked. The worker said, “no if she were to fall she might crush a small child.” ? Are you F@€XING kidding me with that response?!? My 8 year old is a safety hazard because she might CRUSH SOMEONE?! For the record, I pressed even farther and asked what they would do with a child who was confined to a wheelchair. Would they make someone hold them upright, measure them from head to toe? The response: “oh no, of course not. We are equipped to accommodate children in wheelchairs.” …just not tall kids. It’s discrimination. It’s disgusting. I want to know why it’s a safety hazard to have a child who is above 54” in your play place and why my 8 year-old was made to feel like there was something wrong with her because she’s taller than average.

A unique and practical furniture store w amazing deals, frequently low pricing and variety, variety, variety ? Food is decent and cost efficient, especially w the kids ? I enjoy the path they've created to flow through their sections, but I really appreciate the "shortcuts & alleys" we pros use ?
