The Jan Kaminis Platt Regional Library is a beloved community hub known for its friendly staff, beautiful facilities, and vast collection. Despite being temporarily closed due to COVID-19 precautions, the library remains an invaluable asset for the South Tampa area. Visitors can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, take advantage of the free parking, and access a wide range of resources, from computer access to a charming on-site bookstore. With its helpful staff and excellent conditions, the library continues to be a popular destination for book lovers and community members alike.
This library is one of my favorite places to visit. All the people that work at this location are welcoming and very helpful.

Very nice staff. They are always helpful. If you need to use the computer and you don't have a library card they will give you a guest pass. When you have a library card you are able to print .50cent worth of copies that automatically comes on the card which is awesome.

best asset for south tampa! i love being here, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the library is beautiful, peaceful and in excellent conditions, they have a very broad collection and activities for everyone.
