The deals are fine, but honestly the level of nasty service we got today will make me never return to the store. We bought a pair of shoes from this store and assumed that the 20% off was for the Clarks shoe as well, so we tried to use that. When we were told it wasn’t he case, we were fine with it. However the sales rep, made us walk to the area, and pointed it out and made it a point to demean us for not knowing exactly what items qualify. I did not appreciate being made a fool, and I did make it a point to mention this as well. Thank you for making us realize why we should never return to JCPenney. Absolutely humiliating and nasty experience.

Customer service can vary by location, but overall, the staff is generally helpful and courteous. The checkout process is usually smooth, though lines can get long during peak hours. The in-store Sephora sections (where available) are a nice touch for beauty shoppers.
Their online shopping experience is convenient, but shipping times can sometimes be slow. However, the option to buy online and pick up in-store is a great alternative.
Overall, J.C. Penney remains a solid choice for budget-conscious shoppers looking for a mix of style and value. It may not be as trendy as some competitors, but it’s a dependable store with good deals and a wide selection of products.

This shopping excursion started off on the wrong foot. However, the manager made the situation right. I am not much of a brick and mortar shopper anymore. But, I would shop this location again.

Good store with great selection. Limited options in certain sizes (they seem to only have sizes 4 and up for women, and limited M and below for men).
There is supposed to be WiFi for guests in the store, but it never works. I'm a tourist and came to this store two years ago (several times during the trip) and it didn't work. Two years later I am visiting again and funny enough, WiFi for customers is not working. This is not the main point of the store, of course, but it would be better if they did not offer it if it is not going to work rather than to have an open wi-fi network to which you can connect to but not be able to use.

there is very less variety especially in the juniors section, everything good is insanely overpriced and can be found cheaper in stores like ross and marshalls. items literally never rotate and the ambiance is strange as well

This one of the best department stores we have in Greenville. If you don’t want to make the drive to the malls in Cary and Raleigh, JCP is the place to go here! Good selection, sales are when I like to go. It’s pretty easy to find your way around, signs are well marked and there’s usually enough staff to help when you find someone. Parking is easy right outside the door. It’s never really very busy when I come here.
