The room is really modern, although you couldn't tell from the motels overall look from the outside. The cable was good to with loads of good channels. Great value. It's a 15-20 minute walk to Busch Gardens and close to places to eat and shops.Struggled to get a hot shower in the morning though... But that has been my experience in the USA in general.Nearby activities: Busch Gardens near by

It was Ok. It had cockroaches all over, stains on the beds and air was bad, had room service but would take 2-4 hours to give you your stuff you requested, bathroom door is broken, the shower didn't drain properly, spelled highly of weed all the time, wouldn't recommend!

Saturday night is not a good night to stay at the hotel. There is a club nearby that plays a loud base until about 3 or 4 in the morning. You won't sleep. I left a day early because I couldn't get any rest. This is clearly not the hotel's fault, but it made it impossible to enjoy the room. The morning breakfast was nice, but they have a breakfast room monitor that is overbearing and will tell you in no uncertain terms what you need to do and how and when you need to do it. Very rude.I stayed at the hotel because I thought it was fairly close to Busch Gardens, but I discovered that the way the entrance to the park is set up, it is actually more than 1/2 a mile away.Overall, I would not stay there again.

ROACHES SLEEPLESS NIGHTOn 11/9/2023 checked in our room 208 early which we had to pay extra of charge $15 for early check in which was on a Thursday and vacancy was plentiful. We left our luggage in room went to lunch at Olive Garden brought back some bread sticks wrapped up in bread bag and left it on dresser. We had a 4:00 PM Historical Tour. When we got back to Room 208 we started to put our clothes in dresser draws when we saw ROACHES crawling out and on dresser. We took pictures of the ROACHES. We were upset to see them and I wanted to calm my nerves so I opened up my left over Olive Garden bread sticks and ROACHES came out of bag. We kept our clothes on extra bed and in luggage case. Though out that night we seen more ROACHES crawling on floor and crawling on our cell phones on night stand. We kept the lights on and AC on all night to try to prevent ROACHES getting in bed with us. That next day 11/10/2023 we informed the Front Desk of the ROACHES and was moved to another room. Front Desk stated that room and facility was sprayed recently and would inform La Quinta owner and he would contact us which he never did.We were so annoyed to see if any roaches was in that room. On 11/11/2023 we were so glad to leave to go home. We were so concerned that we would bring ROACHES home also in Uber on plane. Soon as we got home we left our luggage outside sprayed it down washed all our clothes sprayed our shoes and took a shower also washed our hair thoroughly. There should be a person at La Quinta to check the drawers for roaches before someone check in. Also there should be a financial refund for the Roach infested room.

First the rooms have been remodeled, however there are quite a lot of ceiling sparkle missing. It looked kinda unclean and needing repair in spots. Front door was dented in and the card scan seemed to only work half the time and took continuous tries. The bed felt okay but was very squeaky and I woke my girlfriend a few times because of it. The TV volume is set to only go to 40 and with the AC running seemed to get drowned out. The room telephone did not work. The Ice Machine I was able to find didn’t work. It wasn’t a disgusting room, smelled fine, if so stayed here again at most I’d pay maybe $80. However it’s unlikely I would ever come here again.

Booked room through outside vendor. I walked in the room to an overwhelming smell of bleach. I like bleach, but my eyes wouldn’t stop watering and I had a hard time breathing. Got up at 6am to use the bathroom. I turned on the lights to roaches scurrying across the floor. I was able to kill 2 but there were many more. My daughter got up a while later and same thing. Killed 2 more. Went to brush my hair…large roach in my hair brush next to my suitcase on the desk! Went down to complain as we were supposed to be staying 2 more nights and had prepaid. They did refund me for the additional nights. I couldn’t get out fast enough!

We stayed 1 night and at night there were roaches crawling on the bathroom sink and 3 of my 4 kids had bug bites the next morning and when I checked there were bed bugs under the sheets. The breakfast was good but the room was not clean. The location by Busch Gardens was the only positive. We will not stay again.

I booked this room for the location and fair price initially. I regret not checking reviews or spending a little more money to go to another hotel nearby. The guy who was running the front desk when checking in was on the phone with a friend, and not paying much attention to us. He spoke to his friend over speaker with his phone on the counter and carelessly gave us the keys to the room. The room looked like they made the bed and added soap to the shower but that’s it. Carpet was dirty and looked like it wasn’t vacuumed. There’s mold in the shower vent. There was hair on the ground and food crumbs throughout the room when we checked in. Breakfast is until 10:00am on a Saturday. At 9:00am the breakfast was out. Look elsewhere for a room to stay. Hotel staff seemingly don’t care about their guests. Housekeeping doesn’t clean the rooms. Place is a dump.

The hotel the building is innocent. TheManager never give eye to eye contact. I was there on business the housekeepers love to say no speakee English’s. Very rude and I have never experience any fraud with my credit until after staying there. the General Manager chuckquanda Yvettre from Virginia plays housekeeping role and Fake ** GMRooms: I watch one of the Spanish housekeepers use a washcloth and scrub the floor with it. Nasty

I was so excited to get here for a nice experience but this place is a dump. Unless you have the DELUXE PACKAGE, your room doesn’t even come with a mini fridge or microwave. The location is nice if you’re going to Busch gardens (15 min walk), but other than that, stay away. breakfast is served 7-10am and your only options are little muffins, cereal, or a waffle. There are so many better hotels you can stay at, tread lightly when looking to book here. this place is worth about $40/night

Our stay was just ok. The first two nights our room needed some heavy maintenance . The bathroom door didn't close, didn't drain properly and no TV. The staff was good trying to accommodate us in a different room and always in a good mood to help (I give them 5 Star)But just a big note out there. There is no closet so if you are planning to stay for more than two days you will place your clothes somewhere or you will keep it in your suitcase. That was a big deal to me since we were staying for 5 days. As per the hotel definitely needs a better maintenance to improve guest staying. If you are asking me if I will stay here again I will say, it will be only for a night or two topsNearby activities: Bush Gardens and adventure IslandFood & drinks: Free breakfast was ok to start your day.

Went for a weekend trip to Busch Gardens. Our room looked recently remodeled and relatively clean. Had a microwave, mini fridge, and plenty of towels. A.C. worked great. Only complaint was under the beds it was clearly very messy. All the employees were professional and friendly. Check-in was on time. There was some renovation occurring while we were there but nothing crazy. The area itself seemed slightly questionable. We walked to and from the park (about 25 minutes each way) and I wouldn't recommend that, especially at night. Driving there wouldn't be a problem.

The room itself was not bad. However, housekeeping needs to do better. Our bathroom was full of hair. Seemed that the previous guest shaved and there were a thousand and one small hair's near the sink, I'm not sure if housekeeping did indeed clean the bathroom. How can they have missed all that hair. Then again, the tub also had hair. It was gross, I cleaned the entire bathroom in order to be sure it was clean for me and my partner to use. The carpet inside the room was not very clean either. The breakfast was not the best either. They can definitely do better with the variety and selection. I did notice the first floor seemed remodeled, but definitely not the 3rd floor. The hallway rug was dingy and dirty as well as the rug in the room. Also, at one point, I was locked out of the hotel, and the housekeeper was cleaning on the other side of the door. She literally just looked at me until finally the key decided to work. Instead of helping me by opening the door on the other side. I'm not sure who the GM at this location is, but they have some training to do. Housekeeping needs to try harder.
