I will never go to this location again! This past weekend I decided to visit lids to pick up another hat. Keep in mind , there was only 1 other customer in the store at the time . The worker that was in there looked directly at me and did not say not one word when I entered ( while she was her phone. That was strike one for me. While I was browsing ,she then decided to move from in front of the counter to the middle of the store to get a better view of what I was doing(still didn’t say a single word to me) . I really felt like she was very Unprofessional and was racially profiling me. If she didn’t want to work she should have stayed home that day . My money will not be wasted at this location

One thing about lids at citrus park mall is that they are never open. I have been here 3 times to try and buy a hat and they have a sign saying they will back but they don’t show until 4 hours later or at all. This is ridiculous. It’s always somehow closed. If I could give 0 stars I would. Sad this is how they do business.

Horrible customer service, had to have a hat re-embroidered and it ended up looking worse - manager says there's nothing she can do, there's no way to contact customer service. Filed a case with the BBB and they weren't able to get in contact with anyone to resolved the issue. $70 down the drain for a hat that looks like trash.

Came in looking for a gift for the hubs. Ended up finding a Bucs hat but they didn't have in the size I was needing. The lady working was very friendly and offered to call the Lids that is located at the other side of the mall to see if they had it. They did so she asked them to hold until I walked down there. Great service today.

Terrible customer service from staff and store manager. I returned the poorly embroidered hat and bought the same one online (with another company) for more money, just to avoid dealing with this store. I will NEVER shop here again.

I would rate my experience a zero, but yelp makes me give it at least a one. I went into the store with my 2 year old to pick out a hat - I wanted him to have one that matched mine. The store had 2 customers in it when I entered, yet I was completely ignored. I picked the hat for my son and went to the register to purchase it. The associate, Haseem, was quick to scan the hat and tell me the price without even asking if I wanted it embroidered. I informed him that I wanted it embroidered and he snapped quickly to tell me that it wouldn't be available until the next day - in the afternoon. (Mind you, the store is empty and its noonish) I told him that was fine. He rushed me over to the embroidery machine and filled out the slip for me (I wasn't even asked what style font or size I wanted) and sent me on my way, as I walked out of the store I realized he didn't give me a copy of the embroidery slip- so I went back and got it. Fast forward to the next day, I called to speak with the manager Chris who seemed very helpful at first.... at first.... when I went into the store he informed me that he messed up my hat when doing the embroidery and they didn't have anymore of the same hat. He told me I needed to order another hat and he would "try again". Oh and I needed to wait 4 days for the hat to arrive. He didn't even apologize! This was an absolutely terrible experience and I have no intention of return to this store. Absolutely terrible!!

Do not shop this company, 2 days late, still waiting on my son's bookbag customer service is a joke but they sure got our money!!!!, your tracking system is a joke also......explain to my son why you can't seem to get his order here thanks for nothing

I've had good and bad experiences with Lids. If I have better experiences this rating would likely go up. I had signed up for a Lids Access Pass and paid the fee, but I've always had issues with the stores looking up my membership. I've also had some poor online experiences where I've ordered products online..and then go to the store and they advise it is out of stock. No notification via email or anything. On the flip side the store employees always try to help regardless of whether I am the Hulk or. fluffy bunny for the day based on how things are going. They do have a good selection of merchandise, even for you out of town transplants that can't seem to grow fond of the Tampa Bay area teams. I'll come back when I'm looking for that particular piece of fan gear though my wife doesn't want me to. She actually despises the business based on the bad experiences. I'm willing to give it a chance though. Perhaps I can keep expectations low so you can exceed them on a often basis? Or you can just become a better business and address your customer complaints better. This is directed at corporate and not at this particular location. Hopefully my little consumer voice is heard and constructive criticism is taken. Thanks!
