Michael's just lost a loyal customer of 17 years. Yesterday, I purchased several water-soluble and acrylic-based markers from the Michael's store at The Walk, 18081 Highwoods Preserve Pkwy, during a "buy 1, get the second one half off" promotion. Today, I returned to the same store to buy four more markers. Inside the marker aisle, the sale tags were still displayed, including one tag with my previous try-out mark. However, at checkout, the markers did not ring up as on sale.
I brought this to the attention of a store associate and showed her the sale signs. She argumentatively insisted that the promotion applied only to marker sets, despite the fact that the tags were identical to those from the previous day. No matter how logically I explained the situation, she refused to acknowledge my point, leaving me feeling frustrated and dismissed. I left the store as an angry customer and have decided never to shop at Michael's again.
To make matters worse, there was a clear sign of prejudice in how the associate treated me, which is absolutely unacceptable. The way you treat your customers is unacceptable, and it's reasons like this that businesses lose loyal patrons and struggle to compete with online retailers. If you want to remain relevant, fairness and decency toward your customers should be your priority.

Had trouble finding the price on several items. Could not find anyone to help, so we just put them down. The checkout line was really long but moved quickly as they had all registers open.

Clearance is decent priced. The store feels a bit hectic. Lots of options but also lots of overpriced stuff. One stop shop for arts and crafts but not the best price point.

Went in to look at new Christmas trees. They didn't have a huge selection of trees but their decorations were nice and they had alot.

Got to the framing shop..515. Asked to have a matting cut. At first they said they could help, but 5 min later they said they didn't have time and come back tomorrow. We went to Hobby Lobby and was done in 12 minutes and with better choice of matting

By far the worst Michael ever ever been on my life I walked to the store. I was free and then everything went downhill so I walked in and I was looking for petals rose petals and I wanted to associates asked her for help. She told me one moment as she pointed her finger out and continued for cold conversation as a customer. I find this very disrespectful. You should stop your phone conversation, whatever you have to say on the phone is not that important or never come back to this location ever again

FYI they won't let you use your debit card as a credit card so hopefully you know your pin or have cash.
