I didn't think a wheelchair company could be as unprofessional as the Tampa office of Numotion. I jumped "out of the frying pan and i to the fire!" Both companies failed to deliver my new chair and threatened to take back their broken loaners WITHOUT A REPLACEMENT!Trying to get my new electric chair has been a nightmare on wheels! The Tampa office of National Seating Mobility has not delivered my new chair in seven months and counting! And I was in my own apt May-July. And I can return. The company claims they can't give me a new chair or let me hold onto the loaner while in the hospital or rehab facility. While that may or may not be true, there are no ropes tying their hands to, at least, ORDER it!I will concede, that there were some months when I had pnumonia and landed in the hospital. But communications with the Tampa office of National Seating Mobility has been " hell on wheels. "The manager called me in the hospital wanting to know if the LOANER chair (that I had to call BBB and corporate to get them to provide!) was right by my bed in the hospital. She said, "people have stolen our loaner chairs." To me, she is rude, unprofessional, and belligerent; I'm not one of those people! That's like saying because one black person stole something, all black people steal!Still, every time she calls with- another excuse why I don't have my new chair- she says the same thing, "are you saying you're keeping our property?" She said that Monday, November 27, 2023.The day before Thanksgiving, she sent the repair man to fix an arm that fell off their "like-new" loaner and instructed him to take the chair and leave me in bed (for who knows how long !) without a chair! (I'm in rehab. .long term for a torn rotator cuff.) Still...not a reason to withold my NEW chair OR take the loaner! That's just low behavior. She claimed, "the facility will get you a new chair! It might be manual, not electric!" And how am I supposed to use a manual chair when I can't even lift a glass without flinching? I can assure you, reader, neither they (nor the facility that I reported to ACHA for other "inhumane treatment) care! They had months and months BEFORE the hospital and rehab to to get my chair to me at my apartment!! They could have it ordered and on stand by for delivery. I was told by another worker with excuses that it's my fault they haven't ordered the chair yet!The corporate office said, "they are not obligated to provide loaner chairs!" PERHAPS NOT! BUT IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO! Any medical equipment store with any integrity, will provide loaner chairs to its clients....unless, they do not intend to deliver the new chair! Then, and it seems like this is the case here, they will take their loaner and leave you CHAIR-LESS!!!What will papa corporate do with this wayward child in Tampa? The answer is currently, "blowing in the wind"...along with the hot air from the Tampa office of National Seating Mobility..

I had the pleasure of working with Alex Headen, a technician at National Seating and Mobility in Tampa, FL, and I can't praise his service enough. With a lifetime of relying on a wheelchair, I've encountered many technicians, but Alex truly stands out. His exceptional knowledge, patience, and friendly demeanor made the experience truly outstanding. Finding such a wonderful employee in the wheelchair industry can be challenging, but Alex is a rare gem. I wholeheartedly recommend him, and whenever I need a technician in the future, I'll definitely request Alex's assistance. An absolute pleasure to work with! ??

My husband can't walk. He has been left with a non working electric chair. The process for repair has been rediculous. He started process for a new charger 4 weeks ago. Still nothing. How do you leave a handicapped person

After initial phone conversation where I was told my insurance would not cover the req. PT eval required by Medicare , I called my insurance and got the correct information. I called NSM 5 times in 2 mos leaving 3 messages w/Nicole and 2 messages on the main voicemail. NEVER received a call back. I left my cell phone # each time with pleas to call me back. When the Dr. Office inquired, she was told they never heard back from me after the initial phone conversation! We ARE covered and multiple attempts to contact NSM with voice msgs left every time. I looked them up on Better Business Bureau. The Tampa office is not listed at all, but after reading all the reviews nationally, I’m glad I did not get involved with this company. I took my business elsewhere.

I truly cannot say enough about the service provided by Jon Raffi with NSM. The day before I was scheduled to leave for Alaska my chair had issues and it was not safe to take. Jon went to the loaner closet and brought me the same chair back. He knew I needed to sleep in it so he made sure it was Permobil. He is so kind and helpful I can’t say enough about him!!!! He even made a video for me on how to remove the joystick for the plane trip. Thank you Jon for all you do. ?

Jon Raffii took great care of us from beginning when we he helped us order, to delivery of my husband’s new wheelchair. He really knows his job and was so patient teaching my husband how to use it, even though it was late and he was at the end of a long day and still two hours from home. He is an employee you can be proud of and a great ambassador for your company.

Mom's wheelchair was falling apart: brakes not working, pommel broken. Isaiah got down on the floor and took the time he needed to replace parts and MacGuyver the pommel until the part can be replaced. I was especially impressed with how well Isaiah kept us updated on his eta, letting me know about an unexpected traffic delay. Very happy with the service he provided and how kind and personable he was. Will be contacting NSM for mom's other equipment needs.
