Our driver John was great. The guys that moved our thingsto a warehouse whacked off a part of our pool table. Broke legs off of very expensive dining chairs, lost pegs for our curio, the suction cups that held the glass to the base of our table. Looked like an atv ran over my desk chair and broke glass in a picture. The guys that delivered our things with John to our Destination were great. The guys that were local in Tampa? How do you do that much damage? Never again.

I moved from NY to FL in late July 2023. This is the second time I used North American. I gave 4 stars last time and I have worse experience this time.The problem comes with the drivers and the pickup. I move a 4-bedroom house but the movers come with a medium-sized truck that barely fitted all our stuff. The company should have sent a bigger truck. The driver also refused to move our piano, which surprised us because it was agreed in the contract. The office sent another driver to help pick up the piano on the same day, so there’s clearly a miscommunication between them.The pickup crews are also dishonest that we find out they broke some of shelf holders and furnitures but they hide it. When finishing pickup, the standard procedure should go through inventory with us one by one, but they rushed us to sign documents that looked like they want to hide something.We report damages to insurance and we are still waiting for the claim to process.The delivery team is fine. They broke the leg of one couch and they are honest to report to us.We have problem mainly with the pickup team this time.

Our entire household was picked up on July 17 - Saint Petersburg FL to Portland OR. It was split into 2 shipments due to a gross underestimate of how much space we needed. The first shipment arrived on July 29 with a few items broken (so far; we’re still unpacking boxes) and the second shipment hasn’t even shipped yet (today is Aug 5). Customer service keeps telling us drivers are “refusing shipment.” I’m frustrated and disappointed.

Wish I could leave 0 stars. This company has caused me nothing but problems during my cross country move. When they commit to something they fail and then I am the one who has to reach out. Once I finally get ahold of someone, they couldn’t care less and have some of the rudest customer service people I have ever experienced. I have 0 trust that any of my things will actually get picked up or delivered.

Movers were very careful with my items. Furniture was wrapped well for protection. All the movers worked efficiently and were so nice and helpful. Thank you!

The Company is Excellent and their personal are very professional and efficient in their Job. I will recommend ? this Company if you are planning to move any where in the USA and Overseas.

I couldn't even get the move off the ground. I tried to contact them via email to let them know I can't take calls while I'm overseas. I told them we can communicate via email or texting. Did they compromise? No! The only conclusion I can come to is that they are a bunch of grifters like most moving companies. They don't want anything in writing other than their nebulous contracts so they can screw their customers when it's convenient. So sad. These people are soulless.

The move itself worked fine, but the dispatcher messed up both with the timing of when the movers came to load up the stuff, and again when it was time for delivery. Spent many hours waiting around. So i would triple check about the 2-hour windows at both ends of the move.

The crew in Tampa packing left a lot to be desired. Some items were left behind that were to be shipped and many blankets along with several roles of packing paper were forgotten. After notifying the company, they had to return to correct the problems.The crew in Richmond was just the opposite. Great work and great workers. They saved the day and improved the entire situation. Moving and relocating is a major event in anyone's lives. Take great care when choosinga Moving company!

Steve and Jennie were the best to deal with. They were right on with their service and what to expect. The communication was wonderful, we knew where and when the move would take place. I would highly recommend this company as the movers at both ends were highly trained and took care with our stuff as it was their own. Please thank all that took place with our move as it was wonderful. Thanks again

I was very happy with the first part of my experience with North American Van Lines. My move was from Fl to Ca so this review is in two parts. The first crew in FL were very professional, courteous and mindful of my belongings. Brian the crew manager made sure everything was done correctly. Unfortunately when the new crew from California was added to the mix that’s where I wouldn’t EVER recommend North America Van Lines to anyone that value their possessions. To cut to the chase one of the guy or multiples guys stole some very valuable shoes from my moving boxes. I didn’t know until after the movers left two weeks later. A lot of my furniture was destroyed, my dryer was dented and a lot of nicks in my walls. Take this review for what is worth. I’m sure not everyone has this bad of an experience.

INSURANCE ONLY COVERS THE ITEMS THE MOVERS PACK! This was not disclosed, don't be fooled. I had many items broken and none were refunded, waste of money!! I watched a mover drop a box off of the lift and that wasn't covered because I packaged it. What a joke.Otherwise the mover's themselves were great..
