Came in for an emergency check up. Didn’t have to wait long for them to bring to back in look a wound on neck. We found out would is infected and they would have to sedate him to cut hair but Dr. Harbert said it wouldn’t be in best interest of max to sedate him with full belly so he referred me come back later.

I love this hospital because I can go here anytime knowing that they will make sure that my pets are healthy. They offer good services so I feel comfortable and trusting them with my pets.

This place is such a scam. You get charged $70 for a “wellness exam” for the doctor to say they looked at your dog in the back. Dr. Harris has no respect or care for your animals. Take your pets somewhere else if you care about them.

I can't recommend North Tampa Pet Hospital enough! From the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth and care from the entire staff. Patricia is simply the best—she always takes such great care of my cat, Noel, and handles everything quickly and efficiently. It’s clear that the team genuinely loves animals, which puts my mind at ease. Noel always feels comfortable and happy during visits.

This place sucks. Do not bring your animal to this vet! I brought my puppy to this vet because he had a small white bump on his forehead. When the vet check out the bump she diagnosed it as probably a small bite from one of his litter mates. Not a fungal or bacterial infection but just a small dog bite.. Nonetheless she still prescribed some cream for it without doing any test to find out what it actually was. At the time it seemed odd that she would prescribe a a steroid cream for something she believed was nothing more then a dog bite but I digress, I applied the cream over the course of 5 days and low and behold the bump grew to twice its original size and is now red and angry. When called North Tampa Vet and expressed my concern, she responded with “what do you want us to do”? I responded with can I please have another appointment? To properly diagnose the infection. They gave me another appointment, but when I asked will there be a charge, they responded with no charge for the appointment but I will be responsible for any other charge (like medication) that we incur. So now I’m responsible for the cost of any test or medication needed to fix that problem that they created. Meanwhile my first appointment I paid over $200 bucks. This place is expensive and when they make a mistake they double down on that mistake by charging you to fix it. Horrible customer service and horrible pet care.
