Everything was good with the rental but when it comes to you getting your money back i feel there is no compassion when you need to get it back in a timely fashion i had to suffer do to a glich on their part and have to wait another 5 days (2weeks now)when i was excepting to have my money back by the time specified . It was a stretch for me to rent the truck and I never would have thought I would have to wait two weeks get the money owed back to me. If you expedite the payment right away should be return expeditiously THAT MY ONLY COMPLAINT THIS HAS TO CHANGE MONEY DOES NOT GROW ON TREES

Okay so this will be an unusual 5 star in that there was a screw up in the rental agreement that resulted in the wrong truck reserved instead of a high top cargo van, which came down to missed [not mis] communications.But here on site the rep, Chris, was totally cordial, friendly, calm, polite, patient, and took the extra time to try to find a resolution.I ended up with a rental with a different company simply because I was on a crunched time schedule. But by all means I would still recommend Penske because of how they handled the situation even when things didn't go according to plan.Life comes with challenges, it's how we handle them that counts the most.5 stars for Chris.

Poor customer service. Called and scheduled a rental 3 weeks back. Asked for earliest available time. Was told 8am. Reservation was made for 8am. Showed up at 8am and the location is closed. Employee walks over to unlock the door at 8:10 and doesn't even acknowledge me, and when I explain I have an 8am rental, they continues to walk away and say "we don't open until 9. You have to wait until 9."Was waiting in parking lot when received a call from the location. They told me that they didn't even have a truck available for me! I never received a call prior to my pickup date telling me about the unavailable truck!A reservation is made so that a truck can be acquired and available. That is literally what a reservation is.Also, maybe don't schedule appointments for pickup times that aren't during business hours. And maybe at least greet your customers and **try to assist them with the situation.This company used to have excellent customer service and would bend over backwards, especially for Penske family members. Unfortunately, it seems those days are gone and it's a "sucks for you" mentality.

Actually, they put others before themselves and gave our foundation an unbelievable price so we can drive supplies to Florida. NO other company would budge or help us. Penske guys were amazing including the guys in Florida
