Poorly run, fraudulent and incompetent. They don't actually guarantee the parts they sell you under warranty. Worse, they cannot actually diagnose a problem in under 3 days, mostly because they are understaffed and the staff they do have are not qualified to make decisions "until the manager gets in". You guessed it, he is rarely in. Go elsewhere and save yourself the headache and money.

You can book your appointment on- line and they stick to the time frame promised. I had my oil changed and for signing up for their rewards program they gave me a $45 off coupon, they also checked my brake pads for no additional charge and did not recommend services I didn’t need or want. I was in and out within the hours and at my dealership an oil change with an appointment always takes over 2 hours

The service overall was fantastic and Steve was helpful! We will definitely be returning.
Update: Changing review to reflect the issues we incurred after the tires were installed. Came out the next morning after tires were installed and one of the tires was flat, took the vehicle back to Pep Boys and they said it was the valve stem, they fixed it and we were on our way. Only to come out to the vehicle the next day and the tote was flat again, called Pep Boys they said to bring it in, so we did. My husband asked them to just put the spare on and keep the tire until they were able to figure out what the issue was, which they did. A few days later we still hadn't heard from them so we call and they say there was build up on the rim so the tire wasn't getting a good seal, so they figured out the root cause of the problem and fixed it. Great, finally it's fixed, out so we thought. We go to pick up the tire to be told when we get there that the rim is cracked and it's cracked rim the inside, this is the first time this was mentioned and it's something they should have noticed before now considering how manner times the had the tire and rim on and off the vehicle trying to fix it. It is our opinion that Pep Boys cracked the rim, giving the above scenario, and they did not accept responsibility for it of course. Therefore, I would not recommend this location and we will not be returning.
Although Steve was very helpful throughout this process. Kenyatta however was rude and should not be in a customer facing position.

Walked in at 8:30 when there was no one else here to get my brakes fixed. They said it would take one hour, sitting here 3 and a half hours later just to find out they haven’t even started on my car. Apparently they were waiting for a part to get delivered and never told me. Only found out because we walked to the other side of the building and saw no body working on my car. Absolutely ridiculous considering I was never informed, am still waiting, and had an appointment.

Very busy place, Front end aligned and all tires balanced. They replaced a defective tire but put on a defective valve stem with their new tire.
This vale stem broke off in Colorado springs 1900 miles later that month. We went to another Pep Boys at 7625 N. Academy Blvd Colorado springs, that first denied the tire was their brand, then after viewing the Pep Boys receipt I had, told me that it was the other Pep boys mistake and not their problem.
No warranty.

They scammed me. They said I needed a new alternator so I trusted them and went through with it. My car broke down several months later. I had it towed back to them and they said I need a new alternator (forgetting they already did this before) so I requested my warranty. At first they agreed that I am covered, then after they gave me a new one they said I do not qualify for a new one. They charged me another thousand dollars! These guys take advantage of women!

Went here to just get a basic oil change what's the price was outrageous but they were open on Sunday so I went there when I got my car they did not top the fluids off like they were supposed to I paid the money for the oil change service which I did not get the full service like was told to me Just told to me they do the oil change and they top off the fluids and they check things on the vehicle which I doubt that that was even dying they did the oil change but nothing else piss or job this is not the first time I had that issues with this store several years ago I had them do a brake job and they screwed that up but I thought I would give him a chance just to do something simple it turns out they can't even do that.

Either they're incompetent or scam artists. Bought tires and paid for mount and balance. They didn't balance the tires at all!! Tires still have old weights on them and no new weights. You really expect me to believe that they put on new tires and they were perfectly balanced. Tires were infkated to all different PSI. Im talking about a 10PSI difference not just 1 or 2. They took 2.5 hours to put on tires. "Mechanic" hit the lift with my door, was very obvious he didn't have a clue what he was doing.

My friend and I went in to pepe boys she was getting a few things fixed one of which was getting her driver side window back in trac well it would not go down .so upon tightening the screws and he must have put to much pressure the window shattered.At first we felt bad for the tech you can tell he was upset .So we just needed the window replaced now we live in Tampa so I know there are numerous window shops here .now the gm tells us it will be Tuesday 7/30 this happened on saturday7/27 so I will go three days so window they tried putting a bag over it not to safe but Tuesday cam and went no call so today I called 7/31guess what no window now he is hopeing to find one tomorrow the thing is how many days is this going to take she already is missing work over this not to munchin she is ruining the inside of her car with a trash bag that dont worm so the storms every afternoon is attracting bugs this sucks i am waiting on corp now
