We had Home Depot do our kitchen cabinet makeover with new door fronts and crown molding due to Ian. We went with them as we figured we couldn't go wrong with a reputable local company. How we were wrong in our opinion! The install was fine, but the fact that the fronts didn't match the crown molding was unacceptable and unprofessional. Everyone that visits us, notices it. They are aware of this problem with their white cabinet fronts not matching the crown so beware if you are thinking everything will match as they are not transparent with this fact. Keep in mind this expensive makeover only includes the fronts of the cabinets so don't expect anything to be done inside your cabinet. Very disappointing for $22,0000! Would not recommend them, and will no longer shop at any Home Depot, like we have been for the past thirty years, as their resolution, to date, is a measly $1600 for the crown molding material plus a little extra. How pathetic!!!!

Yaney in paints had horrible customer service and had me wait in line for over 30 minutes and then when it was my turn she completely just left. When I said something she gave me a dirty look and I had to wait 20 more mins trying to find someone else to help me.

We love this Home Depot at the stadium except when we have to buy window blinds. The Home Depot lady that works in that area has very little desire to help and today my wife waited 20 minutes while this employee chatted with her friend. She didn't take a break even from the conversation to ask my wife how she could be helped. Maybe she was on a break in the middle of the aisle but didn't communicate that. We have bought window blinds for about 40 windows in two houses and need even more. So we have started going to Home Depot on florida Ave where there is a guy named richard that goes way beyond the call of duty to help. HD get your employee some training .

I've recently renovated several homes and needed faux wood blinds for windows in each home. Roughly 18 windows per home. Every time I came to this HD the machine is broken that cuts the blinds or the employee working in the blinds department is very unfriendly and unhelpful. I waited for over 20 minutes for her help--she saw me standing there as another employee walked me to her department--and she had a full on personal conversation with a couple in the store--not sure if they were friends, family or just random customers. I walked out reminded why I don't shop this HD for blinds......I would highly recommend asking for Richard at the HD on Florida Ave if you need to purchase faux wood blinds He has been so helpful when I have needed blinds measured and cut in the past.

Literally the worst home depot ever one cashier for the entire store.... No matter what day of the week and ontop of that they close the garage door into the lumber section so 10000 contractors can all fight to ram an entire house worth of lumber through a tiny sliding door.............worst layout ever whoever designed/manages this place needs to be fired

I come to this Home Depot all the time. It's right by my house and has the best employees. I've been to all of them around here in Tampa and have always been treated the best here. Yesterday, I had a return of a tool that broke and even though I didn't have my receipt, the employee swapped me out for a new one. I do come in here a couple times a week and maybe he remembered me , but I was so happy I didn't have to send it out to the manufacturer like I've had to do in the past . Very happy customer!

If you are considering Home Depot for a project..run! I gave up $4000 to do the right thing and share my experience with you...my experience with Home Depot is as followsRe: job #11128950My name is Lori xxxxx and I have been in contact with you at various times through the duration of this project. Here is a recap of the issues involved:-projected time required for project initially one day (June 29) morphing to weeks then months-window manufactured incorrectly requiring a reorder-glass door panel installed with cracked glass requiring replacement-all window screens installed backwards and ripped.-window sash damaged requiring replacement-door trim installed without prior approval or discussion resulting in negative esthetic changes to the structure-installed window was inoperative requiring repair. The time I was required to provide for this project far exceeded what I was told to expect. Home Depot's mistakes cost me tens of thousands of dollars in lost wages. As an airline Captain a day off means not flying a trip, which can mean 3-6 days of lost revenue. In addition to the financial cost, my integrity was attacked including Atlanta personnel accusing me of lying regarding lack of notification for the time this project may require. I have all correspondence available for review. I endured misogynistic and disrespectful attitudes, actions, and words from your installation contractors. I was told I was behaving like a cop when I asked to see Home Depot identification. I was told parts for the windows did not exist, and then I found the parts discarded in the garbage. I was told parts did not need to be installed because the installers did not want to install them. I was talked about in a derogatory manner in Spanish. Unbeknownst to the contractors, I speak Spanish. I was shown one color and type of trim which I approved, and then the contractor installed something else claiming it was the same. When I held the sample next to what was installed, the difference was obvious. When caught in the lie, the installer walked off the job leaving a 200lb glass door panel balanced precariously against a wall along with trash and other hazardous materials. The financial and emotional costs created by Home Depot's mistakes have been excessive.I expect a company that prides themselves on the quality of their products, workmanship, and guarantees to want to rectify mistakes to the best of their ability, not the least. The dismissive email I received from Home Depot stating their offer of a $2500 rebate was fair compensation "and they were sticking with that", was insulting in tone and amount. I don't expect something for nothing, but I also don't expect a purchase to cost so much beyond what I was told to anticipate. We all pay for our mistakes one way or another, usually financially or with our reputations. We don't always choose to do the right thing, but we always feel the consequences of our choices. Your customers expect Home Depot to do better. I hope you do too.Sincerely,Lori xxxxxxx

Actually, I would give this store zero if it was possible. We ordered about 10k in appliances from this store. We tried to push back our delivery date and they did once but would not give me the date that we requested. After speaking to someone nice on the phone they changed the date. We had to move it back because getting a permit was taking months longer than we were told. but lo and behold, on the original delivery date a big truck pulls up with all the appliances. they said if we did not accept them we would lose them. so we took one car out of the garage and moved everything all around and stored them in the garage until today. All were fine except the microwave which had a defect in the top which would not have been found until our contractor tried to install it. we brought it back, definitely not used with all the things that were required. The gentleman that we were working with was very nice and understanding. A very sour looking angry young woman came up and asked for the paper work and started telling the person we were working with not to refund us and to call Jim and Elaine. they both came and on the way over to the return desk this same unprofessional young woman, who certainly does not know how to keep a customer, ran over to brief them on what she wanted to do to which was block our return. we had already ordered another one from Home Depot and were even going to pay more for it. I was also going to have them do all the blinds in the house. that is all canceled. Elaine said nothing because Jim jumped all over us shouting that it was too late to cancel and return it. that we should have done that right away because once something is delivered you have 48 hours to return it. sort of impossible for us who had no way to take a whole house full of appliances boxed in the garage and test them. no understanding no compassion and Zero customer service. we ordered probably 50k in product this past year. Doors and windows and everything you can imagine. Never again. this microwave was under 300.00. we were going to buy so much more than that but this man and that young nasty girl were so mean and awful to work with that I will never spend another dime in a Home Depot anywhere. They have really gone downhill. Plenty of other places to spend my money where a loyal customer is respected. Certainly not here.

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! Bought a dishwasher from this store and payed to have it delivered as well. It came in a pristine box and when I opened it the right hand corner was dented as if it had fallen off of a truck (see pictures below). When I went back to get a replacement I was told that they wouldn't take it back and claimed no responsibility. They blamed Samsung even though it came from their distribution center. This all happened within the week after delivery. I am now out $750 and I have an unusable dishwasher in the middle of my Kitchen. I used to buy from The Home Depot everyday for my remodel but never again and I will be contacting consumer affairs on this matter.

My wife and I have purchased and renovated several houses in Pinellas County and have used this home depo location as our primary source to purchase everything from all new kitchen appliances, floors, paint, tools, and garden materials for several properties. We recently made a stamper machine rental from this store and purchased $441 worth of paver base online and sand. We paid the extra $80 for the next day's delivery however they moved the delivery date out a couple of days leaving us with a stamper machine we couldn't use. The store was very rude and said they don't deliver on Sundays (but we paid for next-day delivery as it was an option). This store (Michelle) refused to issue credit so we could use the machine when they were able to deliver the material. Leaving us out a couple of hundred dollars. After spending so much money at this location I am surprised they don't back their delivery commitments and have total disregard for loyal customers. I would highly recommend reconsidering spending any money at this location. Lows is right up the street and match any price if they aren't already the lowest. (Order#: WB10920942, Contract#: 291020).
