We came here for bottomless mimosas, got some food to pair with it and stayed here for like an hour and a half. The mimosas were good, but the servers kept refilling them before I was done so it was hard to keep track of how many I’ve had lol, I guess that’s a good problem to have because the service for that was really good. On the other hand, the service, for everything else was not great. Right when we got our initial drinks and our food, the service kind of ended there. Our server came by very periodically, and then towards the middle of our stay she disappeared entirely. It took another server to come over to us to explain that she was with a bigger party. We were seeing different servers throughout our time and then, by the end I had to flag down the bartender to ask for our check because by then everybody had just disappeared. Objectively, this places atmosphere is good but I assume that it’s very geared towards Greek life and that is definitely not me so we were a little out of our element. Some things were weird but the food and mimosas were good so i would come back to enjoy the music in a booth in the corner lol

Visited tampa for the week and stopped in for bottomless mimosas. Brooke was our server and was very nice and attentive. The Korean steak tacos were AMAZING and the service was quick. The host was very friendly as well! Only complaint would be the bathrooms.

Save yourself and go anywhere else for brunch. Servers were cold, kitchen staff rude, and service insanely slow when they’re all standing around talking/eating and there’s only 3 tables there. So unwelcoming, they obviously can’t wait for you to leave. Food was so average, there were hairs in our food and it was cold. Bathrooms disgusting. There’s a reason they do an automatic 18% gratuity, so the staff gets away with being horrible and still takes your money.

From the outside looks like a good time but inside is half broken tables and chairs, the restrooms are so bad reminds me of horror movies. The service is so so, it takes a while to get them motivated. Somehow the fries are always cold, but the steak tacos had good flavor but one slice of steak cut into small chunks.

I love bearss. This place is awesome. The service is amazing and the managerial system is also awesome. They always serve me when I’m low always ask me how I’m doing.

From the moment you walk into Bear's Tavern, the cozy ambiance invites you in, hinting at the memorable dining experience that awaits. But what truly sets this gem apart is their brunch special—a delightful journey for the palate that's both comforting and exciting. The standout has to be their mimosa, a perfect blend of chilled, bubbly champagne, and just the right amount of fresh, zesty orange juice. It's not just a drink; it's a celebration in a glass. The brunch menu is equally impressive, featuring classics with a gourmet twist that elevates them beyond the ordinary. Each dish, from the fluffy, savory omelets to the decadently sweet French toast, is prepared to perfection with high-quality ingredients that you can taste in every bite. The portions are generous, ensuring you leave satisfied, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for such an upscale experience. The service at Bear's Tavern deserves its own accolade. Attentive without being intrusive, the staff knows how to make guests feel welcome, and their recommendations are always spot-on. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, you're treated with the same warmth and hospitality. In conclusion, Bear's Tavern is not just a place to eat; it's a destination for those who cherish great food, excellent mimosas, and a joyful dining atmosphere. It's no wonder that their brunch special has become the talk of the town. Don't miss out on this five-star experience!

Visited Bearss for the first time the other night and was lucky enough to have Sarah as the bartender serving. She was very attentive and did a great job at being professional while at the same time being very nice and funny! With service like this and a good menu, I’ll likely be back next time I’m in the area.

Bearss Tavern and Tap hosts a brillant Sunday brunch scene on the USF campus. Fast, clean and friendly service with a beauitful garden side atmosphere. The endless mimosas from 11am to 3pm, are the start to Sunday brunch you did not know you needed. Make your next Sunday morning brunch reservations with the courteous Scott and ask about seating with the various outdoor games the tavern provides. A special thank you to our server, Nick, for keeping our glasses full and serving us amazing chicken and waffles from the kitchen.

I want to start off by saying I've been coming here for years, and recently they abbreviated their menu, so I thought they were zoning in on perfecting their brunch menu, but I was thoroughly disappointed. The best thing out of our options was the Brisket Benedict, and even the brisket was overcooked. My jaw hurt so much from chewing. The flavor was great, but the texture was just not it. The breakfast potatoes were also surprisingly unseasoned. The worst thing was the breakfast burrito. The onions inside were slimy and cold, and there was not much flavor to note.Instagram: @RosiesFoodTourTikTok: @RosiesFoodTourYelp: @Rosie A

I didn't have the highest expectations for this place, but definitely the worst brunch experience my girlfriend and I ever had. She threw up twice from the hollandaise sauce served on her brisket benedict before I even paid the check. Would not recommend unless you're looking to get trashed on bottomless mimosas.

I was excited to try this brunch spot for the first time as the location worked out for my girlfriend’s and I . We sat outside, and were greeted by our server Antonio . We order our mimosas and he came back with them shortly later and then we placed our food order . At this point I asked for a water , and my friend did as well. Time went on, and we didn’t get our waters or see our server but didn’t think much of it, maybe it was busier inside . Next time we see him , he has the pitchers of mimosas and he’s doing a round outside to top everyone off, and this is already after some time has passed . When he came to our table , we asked once again for waters, as he’s topping off our mimosas . After this , I patiently wait but again Antonio disappeared. I watched other servers for the outdoor tables come and be attentive for their tables , but we did not have the same experience . Next time we see him is when he’s doing another fill up of mimosas with the pitcher , and at this point our food has arrived . We once again asked for our waters , and this time I asked for ketchup with my potato’s . Im the type of eater like most people like to bounce back and fourth between my main dish and my side , so ketchup is imperative at this point . I’m a saucy gal . Again, time went on after we got our food , but no water or ketchup in sight. I’m keeping an eye out for our server , but never came to check on us after the food came out . I flag down another staff member and asked for my server , and I told him I’ve been waiting on water and ketchup. Eventually our server comes back with a round of waters , no ketchup . My food is cold , my friend is about ready for a box . At this point , I’m not angry , I’m just sad, disappointed. Server comes by again , my friend asked for a box and I just looked down sad and discouraged and asked again for the ketchup. Time went on , and still no ketchup . My friend went inside to use the restroom, and while waiting in line she watched our server Antonio stand there and do nothing , just hanging out . She came back to the table to see me with no ketchup, so she went inside and got it her self . Just a few moments after my friend brings me my ketchup , Antonio comes running out with my ketchup . A little late, buddy . He apologized for the delay , I said “ oh you must be a busy man” , a bit annoyed at this point . He responds back saying “yeah, real busy .” . This review comes from a former server, and someone who still works in customer service , and what I experienced today was the most neglectful dining experience I’ve ever had . Ignoring my request for water multiple times , just to pour more alcohol down my throat , which is utterly irresponsible, especially on a hot day in Florida. The inattentiveness from Antonio was by far the worst . When you dine out to eat , the server always comes by after the food is dropped off to make sure everything is good , and to get what ever the table needs . Asking for something as simple as water and ketchup felt like pulling teeth. Will not be back , there are way too many better brunch places with better atmosphere and service . Unacceptable, you guys need to train your servers, or just not hire these Chads and Brads who don’t know what the hell their doing . I saw the duck on the patio far more than our server Antonio.

Was absolutely shocked that they charged an 18% gratuity on 3 people. The grits were hard and tasted no cheese. Have been here before, but won't be back.
