I was diagnosed with in-situ papillary carcinoma in November 2023 I have been receiving care and treatment from Moffitt since then and I have had wonderful Doctors and Nurses who have treated with nothing but dignity and respect. I highly recommend Moffitt to anyone.

Great office. I have someone I love who recently got diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and they have had treatments here every 3 weeks. The staff is kind and results are very thorough. They take a holistic approach at cancer. I appreciate them. Dr. Tarhini is amazing. I'm hoping my loved one conquers cancer but they are making it easier for them.

Amazing staff and experience at Moffitt's McKinley outpatient campus. I had to take a relative to the outpatient surgery center. Every staff member that we encountered was fantastic. Friendly and so helpful. Explained everything several times and made sure my family member was comfortable. Clean and comfortable. Only complaint was how cold it was in the surgery pre op but I understand that's to help fight infection. They have plenty of restrooms and outlets for charging electronics. I went to the cafe, they have Starbucks coffee and several different food items. I had the turkey sandwich which was premade but very good. They have a very nice healing garden outside with several places to sit. They have parking as well as valet parking.

Moffitt does an excellent job of patient care. Their appts are on time or within 5 minutes of your scheduled appt. Their staff is very courteous & caring. We've been to McKinley, Magnolia, Tampa airport & Wesley Chapel campuses. All are exceptionally clean & organized, with very knowledgeable & extremely dedicated staff.

Normally a healthcare proxy/power of attorney can go in with patients, but during COVID-19 this is not allowed. One can supposedly bypass that by being put on a "list" however Tracy, the manager in the Patient Relations Office REFUSED to do her job until she "has had her morning coffee" this was said after her arrival at 8:49am when the office opens at 8:30am. Moffitt is usually a great hospital as I have unfortunately had to spend some time here with my mother in 2007 and now again in 2020, but this has been more of a nightmare than my family and myself could have ever imagined because of the experience Tracy has given us.

This is the fanciest shmanciest of all the Moffitt facilities. It's super neat looking to be honest. It's also the only Moffitt Center that seems to maintain a reasonable temperature, aka you don't need to bring a parka. There's a nice cafe and a lot of outlets. There's also complimentary water and sometimes even coffee, for patients and their accompanied guests. Spending time in this facility is not uncomfortable at all. The staff (as is the case with all Moffitt locations) is incredible. Everyone is kind, service-oriented, and so diligent. And a lot of them have a pretty great sense of humor too! The valet team at this location does tend to be a little slower, although I believe it's just because there's less of them working. Fortunately, there are a lot of self park spaces here! At this time because of COVID, Moffitt is not allowing patients to bring guests. Likewise, visitors are not allowed at in-patient centers. Extra precautions are also being taken for the patients. They are taking temperature and given masks upon arrival.

A second Moffitt location provided solid service and plenty of doctors. I got my bloodwork done with no issues thanks to the port and saw my doctor also. Check in first and you get a pager which notifies you as soon as they are ready to see you every step of the way. Gotta love the technology! The doctors and staff at Moffitt definitely saved my life and I appreciate every day. Life is good!

I'm kinda shocked at the review left by Judi. It's a CANCER center not a hotel. The fact that they have all private rooms is a rare luxury, not something that should be seen as inconvenient to your wait time. They have hundreds of very ill and very scared people coming through those doors. The doctors and the team assigned to you actually give a sh*t about their patient's in a holistic manner and will take the time to answer ALL your questions before you leave. You have to remember that you are one in thousands getting care. You should be compassionate about those ahead if you. How would you feel if somebody said what you said while you were being taken care of?! The pagers allow for a totally digital and efficient way of making sure you are getting to the right people and tracks the "time per patient" ratio. This kind of feedback from a computer system is what helps companies that are this large improve upon their numbers if needed. Again, not something that should be considered an inconvenience. Would you want to go to a center that had a tiny waiting room with plastic chairs and a receptionist taking all your information down by hand on a piece of paper or Commodore 64? No! When you are seeking serious medical treatment you want the most high-tech, sterile, comfortable, relaxed environment possible. Remember again to be compassionate and considerate of the apeople there whose immune systems are so compromised, anything could make them sick. But enough chastising. Heres my story: I had a biopsy done on a dark spot located on the back of my left shoulder. The biopsy came back as malignant melanoma, the most dangerous and aggresive skin cancer to have. To most people, skin cancer doesnt sound serious because "skin" is the first word, not a major organ. A pale skinned native of below the equator Puerto Rico, I moved to Florida at 14 years old. I never thought sun protection was that important, thought it was weird when people on a beach vacation wore thick white sunscreen, big hats and rashguards. I didn't see a dermatologist during my entire life, never had a skin screening, never looked for SPF in cosmetics or wore sunscreen while driving. My primary doctor called me with the results of the biopsy on the 14th. He spoke to me of aggressively treating the melanoma with chemotherapy or radiation and said he was sending me to Moffitt Cancer Center. On the 15th my doctor's office told me they were taking care of everything for me so I didn't have to stress out. Moffitt called me on the 16th and booked my consult for the 20th. On the 20th, I met surgeon Dr. Zager, the team assigned to me and was told the full results of the initial biopsy. Dr. Zager said chemo/radiation was not necessary at this point and that surgery should take care of it since we caught it early. After that, the scheduler came in and booked me for the 31st. They called me on the 29th to go over all the pre-op details and instructions. Again the nurse took time to make sure I understood everything and answer my questions. I'll probably write an update of how care post op went but I'm confident it'll be top notch!

I can't stand this place. Pagers. Long waits. The business of cancer I suppose. More rooms simply means long waits. No excuses. Awful. Time to find new practitioners.
