Today after dropping off my daughter at her gymnastics I wanted to go and pick up groceries for the rest of the week as I typically do what I've been experiencing and noticing at this particular Publix is no one will come and greet you or ask you if you need help I've been there many times and have witnessed the following occurrences is why I'm leaving this review today. After giving this particular store many chances to prove me wrong I have experienced poor customer service and the employees working for them are not being formally trained or don't care to know how to greet customers or let them know you'll be right with them. The first instance that put a bad experience for me was when I took the time to put all my groceries out as in to divide them with cold and hot the bagger decided to put my hot rotisserie chicken with my ice cream and then put all my glass bottles together to which the bag was so heavy it broke and drop outside the second situation that happened is my daughter went to get a cookie from the bakery and the man took 5 minutes to even come and acknowledged or greet her once he did she asked for one for her and one for me I just happened to be standingin a different location and because I wasn't there next to her he told her she could only have one Ivan went over and asked him if I could have one and he said no I then walked away as I walked away I turned around and saw him talking rudely about me and pointing at me in the fruit section to another employee that was in the bakery the third instance I had was at the deli I stood there for 10 minutes while three different workers were behind the counter they didn't greet anyone that was there standing with me I then saw a manager walking so I asked her to please help me she immediately went back to the deli and was very kind to get what I wanted and she has been the only positive thing that I have gotten out of this particular Publix the fourth incident that I had was with the fruit and deli department when I was looking for something I had to walk around asking different people that were stalking if they could help me once I asked them if they could help they then led me to another employee which then led me to another employee which then led me to be frustrated and go and do it myself by going back to the double doors and finding a manager then lastly when I do check out I take the time to put my things in the way I'm going to put it away at my house and I do ask them to bag it in that way and I would say 70% of the time they do not listen and I find that it takes me longer to put my groceries away and half the time my hot is with my Frozen. The Publix closest to my home has none of these issues and are very welcoming and very nice it seems like the people at this particular location are poorly trained rude and not helpful and with bad customer service if Megan the manager wouldn't have been so nice to me I would have given this zero stars but because of her she's the only reason why I gave the store and I unfortunately do not wish to come back to it based on how many times I have been treated poorly or with lack of customer service. I like to say thank you again to Megan who tried to remedy the situation however I think all the issues in her store are bigger than what she can take care of because it's going to take a lot to get that store to where it needs to be with customer service and the people running the departments.

Spent 15 mins in the line for a sub. There were two associates making like 6 sandwiches for one person while completely ignoring everyone in line.

Not the worst Publix but a long track record of being poorly managed. Better choices nearby.

It's clear that Publix is price gouging and I really hope the FTC get involved. Regardless I'm done. Never shopping there again.

Visiting Publix at any location is a pleasant experience. Everyone is always helpful and accommodating. They must take great care and use special algorithms during the hiring process.
No one rolls their eyes if you ask them a question. Staff are always willing to stop wherever they're doing to walk you to the item your seeking. Completely unsolicited. I almost feel guilty for interrupting them, but they hold true to their slogan, "Where shopping is a pleasure."
Full disclosure, my great niece works for Publix; but my opinion of Publix existed long before she began with them. Circling back to my initial statement, she has told me getting a full time schedule and advancement isn't easy. Staff have to want it & earn it. That says a lot.

Publix has been known for having exceptional service however the other day was sub par. The one cashier was new and another employee was checking out and she was demanding the cashier to scan a certain coupon. The new cashier was confused and employee in line scolded her and said just scan it! I have been a cashier for a long time. Just before that the employee was having a full blown conversation with a customer and was holding up the line… mind you it was the express lane and the goal is to get in and out. Once I began to check out the cashier didn’t know how to use the bogo hallmark card coupon and I was patient. We waited about 5 mins for help to come over. A customer that was in line got pissed and threw his stuff back into his cart. Don’t get me started on the deli… you could go to Busch gardens on the busiest day and wait in line for iron Gwazi and get back to the store and they still wouldn’t have your sandwich ready.
