Doug and Joey are the most honest businessmen I’ve ever met in my life. I found them to be very knowledgeable, friendly, and they wanted me to find a racquet that I was comfortable with — even if it took 3 weeks of demoing a handful of racquets. Their prices are already the best of anywhere else, but they gave me an extra discount for buying 2 racquets. Doug said he’s there to sell stuff, and because of that philosophy, he creates the ultimate buying experience for his customers. 10/10 would recommend and I plan to give all of my future business, including restringing, to Racquet Heads.

Racquet Heads is where to go in Tampa. Love that they have loaners and are table to make sure you are choosing best grip option and everything.

Raquet Heads is the best tennis shop in the Tampa Bay area, for beginners and advanced.I visited them for the first time early in the fall, never having played tennis before, and they set me up with a couple of demo racquets to try.After trying them out, they had me try out additional racquets for a few consecutive weeks, until I got a good understanding of what I like and don't like - while they also provided feedback.During all of this time, I was never pressured to purchase a racquet or guided towards a more expensive one. I recently just purchased my first racquet from them and can't wait to play with it.Racquet Heads provides an awesome purchase and introductory experience, the guys are extremely knowledge, accommodating, nice, and you are also supporting a small local business at the same time.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND ~ Doug has strung hundreds of rackets for my family over the yrs. He’s extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of tennis, willing to spend as much time w/ us as needed to fully communicate, provides friendly service, stands behind his work, & he does all this at a fair price. You could drive right past this small tennis shop and not even notice but guess what...this place is Shangri-La for tennis players. It is definitely the best tennis shop in Tampa Bay and it might be the best tennis shop in the country, definitely on a per square foot basis it is. I drive back and forth from St Pete to get my racquets strung here, I buy balls, tennis supplies and I've bought racquets here too.Great demo program with excellent selection of racquets, nice selection of tennis shoes too. But the reason to come here is that these guys really KNOW tennis and can make great recommendations. They are not salesmen. And they have great prices too. Next time I stop by, I'm bring ing them a signed copy of my book, Footsteps of Federer: A Fan's Pilgrimage Across 7 Swiss Cantons in 10 Acts.

Joey helped me find a new tennis bag I was looking for - he was extremely kind and knowledgable about the product. I also tried on some shoes while I was there - while I didn't purchase the shoes I really appreciated that they weren't pushy or trying to 'sell me' on something I didn't want. I will be back soon for a racket !

My husband and I have been their loyal customers for 20 years. My daughter has used their service since 8 yo, continues to go there every time she comes home after moving to NYC and Denver. We buy racquets and get strung only from them. Doug and Joey have seen her grow up, They are very knowledgeable and customer oriented.

Most enjoyable shopping experience… ever. Joey and Doug are the nicest people!They are incredibly knowledgeable of tennis and everything related. I learned a ton and got a top of the line racquet and some sweet shoes!
