I took the free introduction to Spanish for adults class offered through the Childrens Board of Hillsborough County. This course was a great introduction to Spanish. Anietsy was very engaging and upbeat which made learning fun. She brought a lot of culture references and was able to explain nuances of the language in a way that is hard to learn from a textbook. The course was able to pack a lot of content in a short period of time. The class was very interactive and the instructor did a good job of making sure everyone understood the language. I was impressed by how well Anietsy worked with students of varied experience levels and made Spanish accessible gently encouraging and giving tips so each of us could improve. She made it a very safe place to practice speaking Spanish. It was ok to try our best, and make mistakes because that is how we learned and could improve. She created a class environment where we could all help each other become better language students. I learned new words, better pronunciation, grew in confidence with speaking, developed new strategies for using context to figure things out, and received help for understanding Spanish language structure.She did an amazing job of making sure the students got the information from each lesson. Thank You!I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wanted to learn or practice Spanish conversation. It was very well done and I looked forward to it every week.Thank you for making this course available.Muchas Gracias!

My 8 yr old daughter is in a Spanish class and I am so impressed with the course and instructor Anietsy. The teacher is so engaging and energetic and encourages participation from the students, which is so important when learning a language. I highly recommend this class and Ms. Anietsy to everyone.
