Nickle and diming to the nth degree...
Parked in downtown St. Pete and was charged a $1 "convenience fee" for a service predicated on paying online, via credit card, with no attendants or kiosks visible or available.
Avoid Safeway lots at all costs.

Had a terrible experience with Safeway at Spinners on St. Pete Beach. They beached my car on a concrete barrier which ripped the bottom protective plate off and admitted fault in their report. The valet on site were honest and took accountability and that clearly didn’t sit well with one of the owners, Ben. After arguing with him, he towed it to a repair shop for a temporary fix.
I requested a rental car reimbursement since it was a Sunday and I had to work on Monday. Thankfully, I didn’t rent a car because of what happened next. This is entirely the reason I’m writing this review. He agreed to reimburse my $30-40 Uber costs but the check bounced. When I followed up, he promised to look into it but then ghosted me when I followed up. As a business owner myself, this is just crazy behavior given you rely heavily on word of mouth. If you go to Spinners, do not valet your car.

April 21st, 2024. The staff member at Mcditions is incompetent. I found 3 to 5 people leaning on my car with drinks on the hood. When I mentioned it to the valet guy, he told me we were busy and that “what do we expect?” I confronted him, but he didn't apologize or anything. I asked for my money back, and he threw my $20 on the floor. I called the Safeway parking enterprise numbers, and the “supervisor” must have been sleeping at 1:28 am. I informed him that I wanted to make a complaint, but he was not coherent and hung up the phone after I asked if I could speak to someone else. The people working at this company reminded me of why society is failing. There is no sense of professionalism or competence here. I have the picture of the gentleman; it anyone cares

Parked vehicle VIP only to find drinks on it with a bunch of people laying on it. When we tried to talk to the staff member in charge, he argued back that we shouldn’t have left the vehicle at the VIP parking spot and he got upset that we even brought that matter up. What did we expect?, he said. At no point was he genuinely concerned about what had happened. Just an it is what it is attitude. Do not park your vehicle with this company if you are expecting for the staff to take care of it.

The parking valet attendant attempted to shut the sunroof to my Mercedes and broke the switch off. I was given a claim stub and contacted Gabe flattery at Safeway. after listening to the stories, he was making up telling me how the incident took place and insulted me with respect to the age of my car, and that it was wore out. It appears they have no intentions of admitting any guilt for liability. they are poorly rated company through the Better Business Bureau. It’s a parent that they’re really not servicing your customers or your business. if you were to employ them, I would recommend against that. I’m also not sure how long is it been since their last drug testing’s? After all, they are responsible for hundreds of thousands of dollars in value of the cars of the customers I would think they should be drug tested Daily!!

Locked in a garage, tried to pay online - system does not work. Tried to pay at station - would not open. Called your “help” desk. They were “trying” to log in to get us out. Then they just hung up on me, leaving us stuck in the garage. Now we are trespassed because we were upset we were stuck in the garage and going to miss our show time. Great guest service here. Some real compassion. I had to call 911, good job Safeway

Do not park in these ramps. I parked in the one down my Armature Works and when I was ready to pay I text PAY to the number provided on their ticket and never received a link to pay, after trying this 3 times myself and other members of my party trying we went down to the gate. At the gate it would not let us out no matter how hard we tried to pay and the gate would not open. We were unable to hit the help button because the screen on their system was locked. We called the number on the ticket to explain and they were extremely rudely. They were unwilling to help continued to tell us to push the help button which we were unable to do. Finally after 15 minutes a worker came in a golf cart who was extremely rude. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. Shame on this company for the service they provide when a customer is in need of help exiting their ramp because of their computer problems. Instead of apologizing they actually blame the customer.
