Daily hot food includes yellow rice with beans and a choice of chicken stew or roasted pork, served with maduros. Beyond sandwiches, the scratch cooking offers authentic meals, yuca fries, stuffed yuca, and baked goods like famous chocolate chip cookies and guava and cheese pastries. The only noted drawback is that it is not open on Sundays.

First time and let me tell you that Media Noche was the best I ever had since living in Tampa!

I've lived up the block for a year now and finally stopped in. I wish I stopped in a year ago. The food was great. The cuban sandwich is definitely worth trying. The chicken empanada was extremely tasty. The homemade Tres leches cake, amazing. The owner Sal was very nice and personable.
