Reply to the reply posted to the review: I did not request an at home pick up. I drove to the location that this google maps listing is associated with: The parking lot in front of Lowes on Dale Mabry. There is no drop off location for the Salvation Army in the parking lot of that store that I could find. Stands at 1 star review - if there is a donation location - it should be available during the posted hours. If there is not a donation location, the maps listing should be removed.

This location no longer exists. They no longer have a drop off truck location. Bummer

Been there 2 times, in the last 6 mths or so, and no truck at all. Hmmn, I even went during the "drop off hrs" yet still no truck anywhere. Not sure why because they used to have the truck there always, so not sure why they even say this is a drop off location when the truck is no longer there... hmmm! I do like Salvation Army but very disappointing that they longer have the truck here, because it was very convenient to take my items there? instead of having to go directly to the store for drop off.

There is no salvation army drop box, but a children's cancer fund Dropbox. There was a man sitting there next to an open truck who told me donations not allowed except Tuesdays and Thursdays. I asked him what he was doing there then, and he seemed insulted. Very rude!

The Salvation Army store is stocked full of good buys and the money they make goes to help less fortunate people right here in Tampa Bay, not to mention their adult rehabilitation program which helps those with drug or alcohol addictions and is funded by the products the community donates to them. I would highly recommend everyone support them with donations or by shopping in their retail store...

This was marked as 24/7 and I came by to drop some some stuff off it's no where to be found, but the children's cancer bins are around the corner towards the ice cream place.
