I had rescued a dog thinking that with a lot of love and patience she would become the dog I wanted her to be. But in-spite my efforts, she was growing dog and people reactive. I founds my self starting to dread taking her for walks and doing things with her. When I contacted Sam Ivy I was a skeptical but I honestly was running out of options. Today I have a different dog. She has grown in confidence, I can literally take her anywhere and trust she is going to behave and not be reactive. She still reacts to some dogs but not to a level of aggression. She listens and follows commands. I have come to understand my dog and learned how to provide the environment she needs to thrive. I hav e also seen how my dog has come to trust me, which I believe is important with anxious rescues. I cant thank Sam Ivy enough but especially Gina. Gina has been my trainer throughout the process and I could not have asked for someone more caring and understanding. She is truly a rockstar and I am thankful beyond words for the results she has delivered. I tried other obedience courses before, but Gina and Sam Ivy are truly next level. Thank you both!

Where do I begin? This has been an incredible experience from the consultation with Sam to the training sessions with Holli. I rescued my adorable dog Hazel in January of 2024. Hazel was an absolute angel with an insatiable hunger for my furniture. Additionally, Hazel had separation anxiety from me (I couldn't really blame her…I’m pretty fun ?). In all seriousness, the training was worth the money. I learned so many things that have been helpful including proper leash handling, learning crate/place and practicing obedience commands. Hazel is now a rockstar on the leash and no longer has separation anxiety from me when I leave the house. I just want to say a few things about Holli. Holli is the best trainer you could ask for. She knows her stuff, has a great personality and is super patient. I loved that she didn’t make things overly complicated—I was able to take what she said and practice on my own between sessions. Holli also checked in on me throughout the week to see how training was going and was available to answer any questions I had. You will be so lucky if you are assigned Holli as your trainer-I’m going to miss having sessions with her each week! Thank you Holli and Sam Ivy! One more thing…. Here are some pics of my sweet rescue Hazel…. Please consider adopting a Pittie or Pittie Mix… they will fill your heart with so much ❤️

We are so grateful for Holli! She was amazing from the start to the very end. She guided us on exactly how to work with our Dalmatian Zuki as she has always been very insecure and skidding when she’s around kids or when there is, too much activity going on. She started reacting aggressively with our other dog Piper and constantly was on the lookout to pick a fight. We previously had hired a trainer but unfortunately he only focused on obedience trainkng. With the knowledge we got from Holli we learned it’s all about guidance and consistency on making Zuki feel secure and correcting her when and as necessary.We already see a change in Zuki in the short amount of time we had for training and feel confident that if we continue the same steps she will feel secure and will know how to react accordingly. We recently completed a series of virtual dog training sessions with Holli for our Cockapoo puppy, Bruno, and we are thrilled with the results. From the outset, Holli's professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for Bruno's development were evident. Her training methods are clear, effective, and easy to follow, making it enjoyable for both us and Bruno to learn.Bruno is an energetic and playful puppy with all the fun (and challenges) that come with it. Thanks to Holli's guidance, we were able to work on all the essential basic commands and puppy etiquette. The transformation in Bruno's behavior has been remarkable. He's now not only adept at commands like 'sit', 'stay', 'come', and 'heel', but he's also much more well-mannered in his interactions with both humans and other dogs.Holli's patience and positive reinforcement have made a world of difference, and it's clear that Bruno has not only learned a lot but has thoroughly enjoyed the process.We are profoundly grateful to Holli & Sam Ivy for their exceptional training and assistance. We highly recommend Holli to anyone looking for a compassionate, skilled, and effective dog trainer. Our experience has been nothing short of amazing, and we cannot thank her enough for helping us raise such a well-behaved and joyful puppy.

I have to thanks SamIvy. Gina our personal trainer, amazing personality. professional. My English is not perfect but Gina altruism and love made every class so much easy and fun. Even my mom was able to interact with us.They personal deliver the equipment. I was so exited with the results since day one that after we finish the first level I couldn't way to start the second one "comprehensive". Is a win win this course from day one. Even on the first interview Sam share so much value information. I have a new perspective about how is having a furry friend and how to use her energy on her favor. Thank you Gina this is forever like you always say. Thank you SamIvy.I can't wait for off-leash course.

We have two Standard Schnauzers, one was a puppy and a three years old. Both was being reactive to peoples aggression. We were in need of puppy love to be in control. Had an opportunity to meet Sam Ivy who insured us our high energy dogs could be trained. In addition, met our trainer Holli, who was very personable, and insured us if we were patient with the training of our puppies they would respond in an obedient way. Using positive reinforcement and specific training techniques, our dogs quickly transformed to confident and obedient dogs. We highly recommend Sam Ivy to anyone who has a dog in need of training.

Today was graduation day for my French bulldog Moose! All in all I would say it has been a huge success. We have made major steps forward in three weeks time. Holli was our trainer and she was very knowledgeable and great to work with. I highly recommend this training program to anyone that is struggling to control their dog. Thank you Holli for taking the time to understand Moose and giving great advice on how to work with him based on his personality.

We are so lucky we found Sam Ivy! They really do empower the dog parents, which is so key to the success of the dog training. Holli has been such an excellent dog trainer for us! We can't thank her enough for all she did to make Rocky an even better family dog for us.

Our experience with Sam Ivy's Consultants was very satisfying and a pleasure. It is just wonderful that their consultants come to you within the privacy of your home. Our consultant, Claudia, was an absolute joy to work with. Claudia was always very helpful, professional, courteous, and always had great determination in training our "Nutella". She taught us how to handle our puppy along with our being the "Alpha". Claudia not only offered her skills training in our home, but also trained at the dog park and shopping malls exposing our dog to different scenarios along with distractions. Claudia was always very flexible and willing to try everything we requested of her, including, helping myself with leash training using my walker. We were also challenged daily with picking up our 45lb dog and placing her up into the seat of our pickup truck, but with Claudia's training, Nutella now jumps right up onto the seat, fortunately saving my husband's back! It's truly amazing how far this training has taken us in such a short time. We are very, very satisfied and highly recommend Sam Ivy K9 Consultants for your dog training needs....you will not be disappointed!

I AM SO THRILLED WITH SAM IVY AND HOLLI!!! In September of 23, a friend of mine was trying to find a forever home for a stray dog she found in her neighborhood. The shelters near her were full and not accepting any dogs. My husband and I make the decision to give this sweet girl a home. The first month was going so good. My husband’s home is on a lake with a lot of property so Sandi, and our dog Flori, had the run of the place. In October, we go to my home in Florida for the winter and spring. That is when all the trouble started. I live in a residential area with lots of walkers, dog walkers and bike riders. Both dogs started barking non-stop! They took to jumping up on my end tables to look out the window, knocking over my lamps and everything in between. Walking them was a nightmare! They both would bark and lunge at other people and dogs. I bought anti bark devices on Amazon - didn’t work, tried harnesses - didn’t work, gentle leaders, pinch collar - nothing worked. It got so bad that Sandi pulled so hard to get to another dog that if it wasn’t for a couple of ladies that were walking by to help me, I would have fallen to the ground! I was ready to give Sandi to a shelter but when we are at home together she is a sweet, smart, snuggle bug. So, I was determined to find a training program for the three of us. I called a few local places but wasn’t feeling they would meet my needs. I started looking again and I saw Sam Ivy. Filled out the info and right away got a response. Sam set up a meet and greet Zoom meeting and I knew he understood my needs and had the right trainer in mind. Hello, Holli!! I’m so impressed with the progress I have made with training the dogs in just a couple of weeks!!! Holli had given me, not only the tools and instructions, but most of all, the confidence I needed to work with my “girls”. The dogs and I are much happier and I am so excited I can enjoy the outdoors walking and bike riding and go to the dog beach! THANK YOU SAM IVY AND HOLLI!

Our consultant Brad was very friendly and detailed in describing the training program and what it would entail trainer. Holli was extremely knowledgeable, professional and effective in helping us to teach our two Rottweiler mixes that we are the boss in the house! Plus, every session is recorded so we can always reference them in the future. Would highly recommend SamIvy for your dog training :)

Holli has been such a God send! We have a sweet but reactive soft coat wheaten terrier to many things and people. I wasn't sure about a trainer via zoom call but I very quickly changed my mind! We are not done with our sessions but the change in him so far has been truly rewarding. Such a great feeling when friends and neighbors can see the change in him and now I can actually have visitors and have the tools and knowledge for a peaceful outcome. Holly is kind, patient and she really cares. I can't say enough great things about the program. You won't regret it!

I am so frustrated with this Company. I will never recommend anyone here. We fullfill our classes. Did everything correct and the instructor Gina boost us up so high saying we're doing a good job. Everything was fine. Once came graduation we never received absolutely nothing. No certificate of completion, nothing not even a Thank you. I have absolutely nothing that proving my dog went to any kind of school at all. Oh wait...I have a bill every month to remind me. I've called, emailed and left numerous messages. Spoke to Sam himself and still nothing.Please steer away. Beware of these scammers.
