I just called to get a quote and the person who answered the phone was short, rude and very sarcastic, even laughed in my face. It was my first time calling this business and my first time calling a mechanic. Very unpleasant and I will be finding someone else to fix my car.

It's expensive. I was quoted 377 dollars for a 15 min job. The part costs only 45 dollars. I went elsewhere and fixed it for 110 dollars including parts. He might be a good mechanic, but extremely overpriced for sure. His attitude doesn't help it as well.
Edit: Mr Giovanni is such a rude person as seen on his reply. I literally paid him the 55 dollar or whatever inspection fee after i bailed on him. I fixed the crankshaft sensor as he said. I have a receipt. He doesn’t take cards. I had to go to the atm in the supermarket nearby to bring cash. If this isn’t proof they idk what to say

Went to see Jerry to replace my splash shield. He managed to get one from the dealer quickly and inexpensively and replaced it within a couple of days. He even took care of regular maintenance like oil, filters, and wiper blades. Jerry will happily explain the what and why of anything he will be doing with your vehicle and provide estimates for everything. I'd definitely recommend this place for anyone in the area, even students at USF like me.

Jerry is such a kind person and very understanding! I couldn't thank him enough for fixing my car (Toyota Camry). I read dozens of amazing reviews about this place on Google Maps and my USF friend personally recommended this place to me. At first, I said my car was shaking like crazy at high speed and I needed oil change (The maint. required light was on) and I gave him the list of things the previous mechanic told me to fix in the very near future when buying the used car.
He said they would check the car and asked me to leave it there. Afterwards, we communicated through calls and he was very patient with all my questions. Quoted from him, he said "The list provided was baloney" and all I needed to fix the shaking issue was the tire change. The place might not be fancy, but the work done and the issue analysis were fantastic! Oil change, 4 new tires, oil filter, AC cabin filter, 2 wiper blades, and the labor all cost around 760 bucks! It's a steal, y'all! I did a test drive and the issue was gone and the car ran quite smoothly!

Thank you Jerry!! I am so grateful for finding your shop ! A different shop told me I needed all new struts . Called Jerry and he agreed that I needed a second opinion . I Brought my car in and she needed a motor mount! @ A huge fraction of the price ! Thank you so much my car rides so smooth and quiet again!

Finally I found an honest mechanic that knows what he is doing. I moved here from LA two years ago and have had subpar experience with a few mechanic shops in the area. Jerry was very honest and upfront from the beginning and he explained everything to me and communicated throughout the whole process.
I had an oil replacement at a local mechanic shop in Temple Terrace a few months ago. The idiots over-torqued the drain bolt and damaged the threads. Two weeks after doing the oil change the red light came on notifying me that my car was out of engine oil while I was driving on the freeway. It was a total hassle. When I took it back the mechanic said "your car is old that's why it's leaking oil." I have owned this vehicle for 7 years and it's never leaked oil.
Long story short I took it to multiple mechanics and they all said I need to replace the oil pan. I found Jerry on Google and came to visit him. Initially we discussed replacing the pan and I agreed to the price and everything, but the next day Jerry called me and mentioned that he can fix the issue and SAVE ME $300!!! He could have just moved forward as we agreed and made more money, but he was honest and had my best interest in mind. As you all know this is a very rare trait nowadays. I really appreciated it.
Jerry even stayed late until I could drop off and pick up my car since I work late usually.
I had one of the best experiences visiting a mechanic. Give South Florida Auto Repair a try. You won't be disappointed.

My daughter was in a car accident and we didn't want to make an insurance claim because we knew that they would "total" the vehicle and our insurance would skyrocket. To complicate things, we still had a loan on the vehicle. Jerry was willing to take on the project, and he did an amazing job!! He restored my daughter's 2012 Hyundai Elantra with precision and detail. He hunted down used parts to keep the cost down, and today it looks better than when we originally bought it!!! We are so thankful that we found Jerry at South Florida Auto Repair!! His knowledge and expertise were incalculable, and he explained everything. I really appreciated his honesty, and how kind and friendly he was. Truly a rare thing in this day and age!

My car almost exploded and Jerry fixed it right up! He was super nice and explained everything to me including what was wrong, why he used certain parts and how he was going to fix it. I know nothing about cars but Jerry made me feel comfortable in knowing my car was in good hands. He is also super fast! Had my car fixed a day after our appointment 10/10 service I will only be going to this mechanic and will be suggesting him to everyone I know!

Jerry is absolutely amazing. I came having no idea what I wronged with my car. All I heard was a bad sound. He was a able to fix my brakes and rotors in a timely manner. He had also taken a look at my tires and one of them was really bald and it was definitelya safety concern. I didn’t know much about cars so when he showed me my tire compared to a fresh tire I was so grateful he caught that. I had plan to drive 7 hours to my hometown that week and driving with a bald tired is really risky. During this whole process Jerry also took the time to drive me home when dropping off the car and picking it up, helping me avoid a Uber fee. His customer service is amazing and I would recommend anyone to him. He even gave me a discount because I’m a student! Go to Jerry!

My son’s car broke down and was towed to South Florida Auto Repair yesterday (Wednesday). We had never used the garage before. Jerry diagnosed several problems (some serious) and ordered the parts. The car was fixed and ready the next afternoon (Thursday). Jerry also picked up my son from USF so he could get the car (he was going to walk but Jerry said it was too hot).
I highly recommend this auto repair garage and am thankful my son has a safe car to drive.
