Tried to buy crutches here and I have an HSA card. Any medical provider, especially one who sells medical equipment, should understand what an HSA card is and what it's used for. It's for purchasing of *any* medically related approved products and that list of items is governed by the IRS. Used to offset the high deductible insurance plans we see nowadays. Instead, the person who assisted my partner while I sat in the car unable to walk acted like we were trying to buy drugs with a gift card. Asking questions like who pays for the card transactions and saying it would only work at pharmacies. Incredibly frustrating. They still asked these questions and made me do a client intake form AFTER the card was ran and went through with no problems in case the card company tried collecting payment from them....the vendor...which is not even something a credit card company would do! Just blows my mind. Only gave an extra star because they had crutches in stock for a reasonable price. Should have gone to the other medical supply store who had them for $15 more, worth it for not having to go through the Spanish inquisition just to get some crutches.

We had a horrible experience with this company. My son received 200 pull-ups and 120 Chux pads from previous supplier EdgePark which was paid by Staywell through Medicaid. Staywell no longer had contract with EdgePark and provided this company info. First shipment we received 174 pull-ups that were too small, 120 Chux, and some wipes. All items were drop shipped from Sam’s Club. Then I got a call from Sandra that next time we would receive fewer pull-ups because we are only allowed 200 items between pull-ups and Chux pads. I told her that my son needs 200 pull-ups per month, and we would rather use cloth bed pads if we have to, and pull-ups need to be bigger to fit him and she agreed. Well, today we received 174 pull-ups of the same size, and nothing else. When I called to complain, she said that they have to follow the weight on doctor’s order, which was outdated. She asked me for my son’s weight before the first shipment and ignored it. She ignored my feedback on the the pull-ups being too small, despite reassuring me that the issue will be corrected. And she had the nerve to ask me if we can pay for extra supplies! I contacted Staywell case manager and APD case manager to find us a different supplier because this is Medicaid fraud!

..this company failed to communicate with the supplier for DME equipment, ..communication efforts were initiated by member..they dropped the ball several times...months later and we still do not have the equipment...this company gave unacceptable malpractice and excuses

Needed to replace a medical equipment on a rush basis and was lucky to find SS Medical after checking elsewhere with no results. SS provided excellent and prompt service at a very reasonable price. Totally deserves the five stars!
