Very satisfied with my experience at Steam. My oldest started there when she was one went all the way through Vpk. She started kindergarten above level now she's in 2nd grade with a third grade reading level! My second child goes there now she started when she was two. You're always greeted with a smile when you walk in from Ms.Jemese and MsJessica. Sometimes my elderly mom has to pick up my daughter and Ms. Jemese will go and get her from the class so my mom doesn't have to walk that far. My daughter fell in love with Ms.Cece and Ms.Jackie they know she's not a morning person so they are always ready to get her and comforter her when I drop her off. Ms Jackie even did her hair for her birthday because she asked. This year she is in VPK with Ms. Sandra and Ms. Jackie they take great care of all the kids and challenge them with weekly homework. All the faculty from the custodian to the kitchen to the classroom are always professional. STEAM was the best decision!

I have to say this is probably the worst daycare experience I have ever had. The school looks great however this is surface level. Some of the staff can appear to be nice and love the children but they do not. I had my two foster children there and from day one there were concerns. Initially I though this is going to be good (finding quality daycare in Tampa is difficult). My first concern was the ability to bring my children in after doctors appointments. I was advised that with a doctors note that they children could not come after 11 am even doing early steps appointments for my children with a note was a problem even if they were fed lunch they were not allowed to come in for a half day. This is not what the hand book states this was a rule from the director at this center. The daycare would loose my children's clothing and then tell me they were going to credit my account five dollars they lost a Mickey Mouse shirt that cost me $35 dollars and they gave me $5 dollars. The handbook also says they are not responsible for lost items, however require that you leave clothing (which is not a problem if they do not get lost). They are suppose to send blankets and sheets home each week for washing but they do not and of course when you ask about the items they say they will wash them. My very nice blanket and sheet set was never returned and the teacher did not know which one belonged to my foster son. How is this possible if they are using the items for nap time daily. They use an app called ProCare to provide updates and for sign in and out. They are suppose to update parents as to how the children are doing throughout the day they rarely send updates and if a parents ask for updates they get upset and frustrated. I was advised that the staff are sometimes to busy to busy to update parents as to what the children are doing throughout the day. They do not change the children's diapers routinely I would pick my children up and they would have red bottoms and rashes. Of course a staff member grabbed my 17lb baby girl by the arm and when I told her not to she because very rude and belligerent. Ultimately they did not take my word but went to look at the video and found that she had …they advised me that this would be addressed with Huan Resources and never provided an outcome. The final straw was me taking my children for COVID-19 vaccinations and not being able to bring the children back because we made it there at 11:07 AM. I sent a message to let them know that they had appointments. Ultimately I did call the owner and he was kind and called the staff and they said the children could be dropped off at 2:30 PM. The staff lied to him and said that they only did that because they had a staff quit unexpectedly this is what they do daily.They do not seem to want the children there. They are always over ratio...always … Lastly they hired a "teacher" who's own children is in foster care...that is very concerning as that means she has an verified abuse report. I will not go into detail as to how I know but they are aware I am sure how can a person who is not able to have her own children be allowed to work with children. I have never been more disturbed by a daycare. They are like a pretty woman with a ugly spirit. If you are even considering this daycare please just keep going do not be taken in by the looks. This is by far the worst and most disturbing daycare experience,Update …I have to laugh at the director’s comments as I have all the e mails that was sent from the pro care app also the daycare had to refund me due to my account being over paid I always had a credit on my account…this has nothing to do with Money but poor quality child care …I am amused that the director has a few if her foster parent friends write reviews to counter the one I posted. I can’t speak more highly of a child care facility. My kids love it here. Ms Makayla is amazing with my babies, Ms Jackie always shows my kids soooo much love. Miss Letecia and Miss Olivia are amazing to my 18 month old. And miss Brittany literally makes my 3 year old so excited to come to school. Office staff are responsive and incredibly responsive and communicate so thoroughly. Every morning miss jamese or miss Jessica greet myself and my kids and you can really tell they genuinely love their job! The minimal complaints I’ve ever had were resolved professionally and in a timely manner. We ❤️ steam

So Im currently a fairly new parent and I must say so far so good being the resources that are Available for parents to feel my kids are in proper care is great for me , also the curriculum, and also the open door policy is also amazing .The Staff is polite both morning and evening with dropping and picking up kids. I like this daycare center is diverse as well . I will be recommend

Im so glad i found this place and gave them a try. All of the teachers work together and communication on point. Very clean. Wipe down everything daily. Affordable. I just love them and my baby does also. She has improved to a big girl from day one. Very respectful and coordinated.

My daughter loves this school and so do I. We dont have any issues. Ms. Jessica is great, my daughter wrote her first sentence by herself 2 weeks ago. Thank you Ms. Jessica and all the teachers and staff because I know it does take a village and I have seen all of you pull together and make the dream work.

My daughter came from another VPK program where everyday she was being bullied and wasn't learning anything. Now she goes to VPK here with Mrs. Jessica and she loves it. Everyday she is excited to tell me what she has learned, who she played with and can't wait to go back the next day. My daughter has learned her Alphabet and almost has her name down pat in only a few short months when she has been struggling with learning disabilities. My daughters favorite thing is when Mrs. Jessica reads her books to the class. Also at the other center she was having accidents almost everyday. She has not had one single accident since we switched to here.

My daughter has the best teachers ever. Miss Kay Kay and Samantha. The staff is very friendly and caring. Every morning my daughter runs to her teachers with arms wide open. ? Thanks for being so great.

My boys love their school. I get updated periodically throughout the day about what my children are doing along with cute pics. The staff is very friendly and keep u in the know about whats going on. No complaints

My son loves his teachers Ms. Erica and Ms. Nicole. He talks about them all the time. He's learning while enjoying and that means a lot. Proper teachers teaching make all the difference!

My daughter have been attending over a year now. The staff is great. And the learning curriculum is followed and my daughter has learned a lot. Her teacher Ms. CeCe, is amazing and my daughter adores her.

Just saw the after school pickup van driving recklessly on the street going to Temple Terrace elementary school. The driver was speeding in a school zone, passed a car in a no pass zone. Plus it was raining, I feel that parents should be aware of who they are trusting to transport their children.

My son has attended Steam preschool academy since he was 9 months old. We initially chose the school based on proximity to our jobs, but I'm so glad we did. Mrs. Angie and Mrs. Jemese are incredibly caring and they are willing to listen and respond to any concerns even after hours. Mrs. Aisbel is still our favorite. My son loves her and you can tell that she really loves all of the children as well. It's been a pleasure watching her train new teachers as her role has changed over the last few years.The school has taken extraordinary precautions during COVID-19. They've brought in cleaning services when anyone has tested positive, they've even gone as far as bringing testing too the school for students. They have organized picture days, had really awesome activities (Ian loved bubble day) they have classroom parties and it's just an awesome environment.When I was looking for schools, I was initially concerned because a lot of reviews were not great... But trust the positive ones. My son is now two and we've had no issues.Every staff member knows and gets my son. He's excited to be there. He has learned and developed so much and as a working mom, it really has put my mind at ease because while he is there, I know he's loved and cared for.I can't recommend this school enough.

I love steam preschool my son is in VPK with Mrs. Jessica and he loves her. Since the first day I’ve never had any complaints and my son never gives me a hard time always happy to go and learn. Everyday he talks about how he likes Mrs. Jessica and he needs to go to school and learn with Mrs. Jessica. He’s has gotten better with his Speech writing abc and he knows how to write and spell his name out loud. Every staff member is friendly and they’re great with communication. My youngest will definitely be attending next year.
